For Imlie, more than haq, it’s about everybody happiness. If she fight for her haq than she is being selfish and if she does not fight than everybody is happy. But Imlie is forgetting the happiness of the most important person here. For some reason she keeps forgetting that rishta is of two people and this haq also involves two people and by not fighting for it, she is doing a big injustice to the person who is most involved here. I guess thats where the promo plays it’s part.

She has become comfortable with the status quo but she doesn't seem to realize that the truth is already in motion....with Malini knowing, things can now never go back to the way they were before.....so whatever happiness she sees in the T family right now is temporary.....there is no scenario in which Malini can come back to this family so if Imlie thinks that the family not knowing about her being their bahu will keep them in this "happy" state permanently, she is again deluding herself.....Sach SURAJ ki tarhaan hota hai😆.....aur jab Suraj se shaadi hui hai, Imaliya, toh tum andhere mein nahin reh sakti indefinitely😆

Anyways, things are not in Imlie's hand now.....lol she has to realize that.....she can't put this genie back in the battle now that Malini knows the truth....so her world of lies will collapse regardless of her thinking that keeping this truth hidden is what will help her sustain her bond with the T family....the shift in dynamics is inevitable....Imlie fears that change right now but the change is inevitable and it's coming one way or the other whether she likes it or not.

But jokes aside, I understand that expecting any mature conversation in the near future is futile, especially since this is ITV and their quota for character progression kinda stoped at Adi. I wanted this opportunity to understand what Imlie honestly thought throughout this journey, especially how she dealt with Adi changing from being her protector, to friend, to life partner. We got Adi's viewpoint of his transition, but what about Imlie. Imlie has grown as a character in her own ways even if she hasn't given a grand speech about it like Adi😆....and her way of verbalizing her feelings has always been different from Adi's given the differences in their personalities and basic nature.....so she will verbalize her thoughts in her own time....it's not necessary that this specifically may be the right time for it.....because all this is more overwhelming for her than it is for Adi - we have to keep that in mind.

Btw I don't think Imlie views this as needing to give up everything in life to be with Adi.....he has always maintained that he wants to be a partner helping her realize and achieve her dreams....there is no sense of her having to sacrifice her dreams for Adi so why will she view it like that? Her hiccup is just about not wanting to be the cause of unhappiness to others.....but other than that, I think she does not view Adi as weighing her down in life.

I guess you want Imlie to have a flashback to the rishta pankh ban jaata hai line😆....but woh toh Adi ko bhi aaj tak khud hi yaad nahin aaya that he was in a literal pinjre waali relationship with Malini.....lol so it all depends on if/whenever the writers want to address that.....otherwise it clearly shows in Adi-Imlie's actions what they mean to each other.

+1 to all you said. Imlie's insecurities have always been playing the part of keeping her from coming out of the limbo. More than hurting others it is that they will not accept her after the truth comes out that bothers her more. She already got a got a glimpse of it after the suicide kand, and later after she came home. So she is "terrifaaa" on what will the repercussions be when the truth actually does come out. By saing she will settle Malini didi, she really wants to extend this limbo as my ch as possible. Like we say, you cannot build castles in the air, as they are bound to break, and I can see Adi is doing just that. Imlie needs to face the facts that this rishta needs to be a two way street and not a one place mandir that she has made it out to be. As I have mentioned in my earlier post, I just hope that someone other than Malini shows her that mirror, coz if it does land up being Didi, I will be extremely disappointed.

About imlie exactly she is too scared of change burrying her head in sand thinking this is feasible in long term but it is not .. the girl has to understand ke acha ya bura change toh aayega and she better prepare herself she should give herself a chance and see ke abhi tak jitno ko sach pata chala they have handled it as a unit and sambhal lia na there was a point she freaked out about dadda and mithi knowing too but they overcame that the love and admiration front that side hasn't changed toh yahan bhi sacha hai toh it won't change yeah naarzgi shock lagega which is real only but she does have that emotional connect for them to eventually forget and forgive and she just experienced it too so yeh khud pe haawi kar lena darr is more dangerous and only making things difficult again nadi paar karne ke liye usme uttarna toh padega which means there will be waves but the end result is it will come to a still a calm after momentary turbulence..

I think she is doing the best thing she can do in this situation, giving them space to deal with things in their own way. She heard the truth accidentally and Aditya did not tell her directly. So i guess she is waiting for the time he tells his truth himself so she can support him. Tab tak ke liye she might pretend to not know anything and silently support imlie.
