Adi-Imlie and that sense of a unit building again - Page 14

You ladies are way ahead mujhe kaafi catchup karna padega.. but I love the unit vibe back again it was such a small thing but it meant so much to me as a viewer that she valued his feelings his emotions and bothered to ask even though he hasn't restricted her and then him pyaar se calling her paas after flipping then samjhaooing itne aaram se ke plz learn to awaaz uthao khud uthani padti hai can't just let people bulldoze over you caz you respect them apni bhi rakho..bohat pyara scene tha jitna bhi tha.. baaki I will catch up and put my thoughts sorry abhi my mind is at too many places and I feel distracted

I liked the Imlie part of the hospital conversation with Dev too. It is becoming a tad bit more clear even there that learning Dev is her father is not going to suddenly get her to start liking him any more than she does right now. She gave him such a sound thappad albeit with words.

Do you think that they’re going to not move the T ladies out of her corner now? Or am I the only one seeing something of that sort happening there I.e them not going to the other end when the divorce bomb drops.

LOL yes, Imlie turned down Dev's request to call him "Papa" generically also😆.....pointedly told him he is only Malini didi ke Papa😆.....so based on all this toh nahin lagta she will accept him as her father even on learning the truth.....she was her Amma-Dadda's daughter through and through again today👏.....Dev will always remain Bhura Daaku only....😆

I had to laugh though at Justice Crusader Didi forgiving him with a "love you" already😆.....bas ek din ka gussa tha over all his "sins"?😆

Re: T ladies....lol I really can't say....today's scene did make it seem like they are more firmly in Imlie's corner now with the way they were talking about protecting her from the big bad world out there😆.....but no one can really say how the chips will fall when T ladies will be asked to forego their golden bahu Malini and accept Imlie in her place😆....abhi bhi wildcard hai.

Today's theme just seemed to be generally about everyone wanting Imlie to fight for her self-respect and reply back to those who try to humiliate her....remains to be seen if this theme lasts more than 1-2 epis😆

The way he tried to calm down his garam tawaa mode and softly call her over taaki use pyar se samjhaa sake😆....and Imlie was so cute in this bit giving him that halka sa reproachful look ki daanta mujhe Babusahib ne😆

Agreed...and for what it's worth, today's epi did continue to build on a similar vibe for Adi-Imlie.....today also Adi tried to lift her spirits, teach her about self-respect.....daantoed her, then surprise surprise, tried to temper his tone and pyar se samjhaao her😆..that was such a small thing but so significant him immediately realizing ke he will have have rone it down if anything has has be put in her head he can't just blast and leave so he did blast but then calmed down just like an adult should aaj woh thoda sa guide wala factor was back in too ke meri nahi toh dadda ko kitna shame hoga feel plz no and inlie samjh bjlhi gayi she was anyways too amused by CK and BK ka we will samjhao and sikhao her duniyadaari which was so freaking adorable on their part but sach hai imlie needs to not let AC types walk over her in lihaaz caz her lihaaz ki limit hoti hai...Imlie managed to get in a little leg pulling of her own too....so overall they do seem to be putting in some of the classic Adi-Imlie vibe scenes back and building that sense of a unit now cuz Imlie is listening to what he's saying for a change and absorbing it rather than blocking him out in blind Didi jaap😆

Just these few small things make a world of a difference content-wise for Adi-Imlie scenes....them actually getting to converse rather than talk past each other, Imlie not just doing dukhiyaare/bechaare expressions all the time but smiling at him, pulling his leg even in the middle of arguments again....lol....basically talking like normal people again rather than just moping around about Didi all the time.

And it is making the difference quality wise.. caz I am getting my intrest back in seeing how they navigate through this.. they aren't putting tokeinsims usse thoda uppar utha rahe hain and that makes a world of difference in the narrative can they plz stick to that essence the core of what these 2 are and what different roles they have to.keep.playing for each other.. there was such a solid team vibe with her asking for his permission itne pyaar se explaining why it is important for her and then him samjhooing and samjhaooing ke why he isn't letting her and I like how it was unsaid he never said an explicit yes but the message got conveyed

I am really hoping for consistency here, considering the past few weeks. They’re on the right track for now, hoping they keep it consistent.

And I didn’t want to talk about her but now that you’ve reminded me oof didi why did you waste all that breath on that pointless lecture 🤣 sorry but that character is nothing but one big joke to me right now.

Yes I loved that and her sach main aaon kya and his aao.again soft sa .. imlie was dikhaooing thoda naarazgi and then he was like nahi darra anhi sakta and i loved the promise bit and how soft and assertive that was from.him and her then Ok promise I liked how he changed his own tune today ...adi was in full I have to somehow get it past through her head ke apni izzat apne haath

Didi was again on her own tangent today anyway. Where she has the strength to stay on one thing beyond ten seconds 🤷🏻‍♀️ The only person she stuck to like a leech was Aditya. But her dad leaves his child out in the cold for 20 years, gets a heart attack toh Ganga naha liye God alone knows how the Chaturvedis define prayaschit 🤔 I never understood her crusade. I refuse to understand her crusade.

That horrible Adityaaaaaaa was back today though. Suddenly ring return karna tha, yaad aa gaya 🤢

Re Ts: yeah, keeping my hopes low on that one. But I liked that they got them to acknowledge their wrongdoings within earshot. Imlie needed to hear that too.

@bold - agree. Hope they continue it. Even if it is these five minute scenes they give us as bheek. As long as there is some continuity and structure around it, I’ll take it.
