Impulsive toh Adi bhi hai about blurting out things but the way Malini literally creates a spectacle on so many levels whenever she tries to "manage" something.....baap re😆

Aur ek apni Imaliya hai jispe itne ilzaam hain nautanki karne ke😆....but she will suffocate herself daily rather than putting anyone through a spectacle the way Didi does.

Sumbul's range as a performer shows in these scenes where she manages to convey all of Imlie's emotions simply in the way Imlie watches her Babusahib👏

What was especially nice was that he didn't throw her off when she grabbed his arm, usually he snaps at her - hath chhordo! and pulls away, but today he let her stay holding on to his arm which showed some affection.

Where can she stop herself from ever doing anything calmly. Imlie pe sindoor ke wajah se baras padi, Mithi ko Pagdandiya jaake rula diya, Papa ko heart attack dila diya haq ke chakkar mein Panauti ban gayi hai Didi 😆

I'll just say this much.....Director saab needs to focus on getting this transitional phase of Adi-Imlie ki chemistry right rather than propping it up through token lollipops imagined by hyper fangirls😆.....they are not a typical couple and doing typical scenes on them will not "create chemistry"....it needs to be organic and have thehraav in it for it to work.

Didn’t see the clip but all I could manage was a sigh, not of relief, but of exhaustion when I heard of it. It’s been a very long time I have been expecting them to go back to the crux of what adi imlie are, their relationship has subtlety they’re an organic couple whose couple progression is so natural their scenes seem to fit and everything around them falls into place according to it. That I felt has been overlooked in lieu of these grand sequences or romantic dance sequences which, well, frankly come out of nowhere and neither fit with them or fall into place according to the scenes or story.

What they did yesterday, that’s how the story needs to move forward. I am ready for all the romantic sequences if they fit into the story and are in line with the progression of it and the characters. I am just not able to connect when they are inserted to satisfy a particular part of the audience and not for the sake of the story.

Agreed...and for what it's worth, today's epi did continue to build on a similar vibe for Adi-Imlie.....today also Adi tried to lift her spirits, teach her about self-respect.....daantoed her, then surprise surprise, tried to temper his tone and pyar se samjhaao her😆.....Imlie managed to get in a little leg pulling of her own too....so overall they do seem to be putting in some of the classic Adi-Imlie vibe scenes back and building that sense of a unit now cuz Imlie is listening to what he's saying for a change and absorbing it rather than blocking him out in blind Didi jaap😆

Just these few small things make a world of a difference content-wise for Adi-Imlie scenes....them actually getting to converse rather than talk past each other, Imlie not just doing dukhiyaare/bechaare expressions all the time but smiling at him, pulling his leg even in the middle of arguments again....lol....basically talking like normal people again rather than just moping around about Didi all the time.

Yess that is exactly what creates such a huge difference. There was conversation before but it lacked clarity or substance. Felt like the scenes were written for just one character who is conversing with a brick wall. Focus on the fact that imlie is supposed to be her own individual character outside of didi jaap and look what wonders it does 😆

Yup. Today’s scene was again pretty good. They are taking slow steps but strong ones. Pretty good build up to whatever is coming next week.

I liked the Imlie part of the hospital conversation with Dev too. It is becoming a tad bit more clear even there that learning Dev is her father is not going to suddenly get her to start liking him any more than she does right now. She gave him such a sound thappad albeit with words.

Do you think that they’re going to not move the T ladies out of her corner now? Or am I the only one seeing something of that sort happening there I.e them not going to the other end when the divorce bomb drops.

Yes indeed😆.....Either the writers finally got tired of keeping Imlie in this one-note Didi jaap zone or they want to move the story forward now so they are allowing Imlie to return to her individual characteristics more clearly again😆.....jo bhi hai, I'm glad to see this Imlie back.

She isn't blindly blocking out Adi now....she confers with him....like today she talked to him about wanting to go see Dev in the hospital rather than unilaterally just keeping him out of the loop as she's been doing since a while.

And then the way Adi asked for a promise from her for a change😆.....and she calmly gave him the promise with a smile too rather than adding some faltu Didi related condition as usual😆

They are very subtly showing Imlie starting to get used to the idea of them as a unit cuz now when Adi invokes his past regrets about not taking a stand for her also, she is listening, absorbing rather than deflecting.....

I can only hope this continues for a few epis atleast before whatever happens with the ultimatum😆
