I know. He supplied the word. Kya hai Na, he doesn’t yet understand the depth of her insecurities when it comes to her education. For that he needs the clarity Anokhi got today from him today about his pain.

She's been getting annoyed with his chill attitude and stubbornness for a while. It reminds me of the hostel scene too where he didn't care if anyone found him there and would not leave without saying his piece. So far, it hadn't affected her studies, so she trusted the words he professed after the shaadi. Now his chill attitude combine with his stubbornness is directly affecting her educational progress. And he's making light of it because he's a Sabherwal and by extension so is she. There's sooo much arrogance in that. I can see why she feels played with.

A lot of people have said today that he downplayed or discounted her pain. First time I saw the episode I felt the same. Second time also. But after seeing it a few times, I felt that no. He did not intentionally do it. He wasn’t discounting it, he was not able to understand it. Yet!!

We can go in circles talking about Shaurya's intentions and actions, but the consequences is all that matters. She didn't share the dark parts of her past, but he also has made his own assumptions about her struggle. He's going down the path that, "You might have had unsupportive parents, but at least you had parents". He gives no thought to the fact that those parents have tried to destroy her spirit since birth because she's a girl and all the struggles that come with it. He's very ignorant to it. This is something that will require Aastha. She's privy to everything that happened surrounding Anokhi's forced marriage.

Till today, Anokhi has never listened to his side of the story. He never spoke about it and she also never listened. Does it mean, she downplayed or discounted his pain. Not really.
Both of them are impulsive in their own way. When he is angry his behavior is reckless and when she is angry her words are reckless. She always knew he was in pain, even before she knew him, but she never knew why. Till today she has never been able to understand his pain. Shaurya is partly responsible, coz he never told her. But Anokhi is also a little responsible, coz she always blindly thought that Aastha has been wronged and Shaurya was wrong not understand her. Till today she did not get the fact that, yes Aastha was definitely wronged, but Shaurya was no where at fault for that. His pain, hurt and anger are equally validated as Aastha’s, even more so! Coz a 4 year old, did not deserve what he went through. An empty childhood bent under the burden of so called sacrifice. Today Anokhi understood the depth of his pain, coz he finally opened up!!

I do think that Anokhi, in her own way, did discount the depth of his pain. She only saw Aastha's pain and tadap for her son. She doesn't realize that his hurt and anger were fueled by Devi and Tej for the last 25 years too.

Shaurya opening up was soooooooo needed. He was begging to be understood post-shaadi, but this is the first time he gave a valid reason to why her condition for their marriage was so unfathomable to him. Watching the post shaadi scene where he cries and says he will try......and then watching the Aastha scene where he's begging to have his efforts acknowledged........to this episode's explanation of how they don't have a 'dil ka rishta'..........it just all comes together!!

So, now it’s Anokhi’s turn to open up. She talks about her ambitions and dreams. She talks about her fight for it. But she needs to talk about the abuse, disrespect, disregard and contempt she got from her father every day since her birth. Everyone likes to believe parents are perfect and ideal. And having them is a blessing. That’s what Shaurya believes, coz he didn’t have them despite them being alive. But no, sometimes parents are not a blessing. They are toxic. And till Anokhi tells him the toxicity she went through every single day, he won’t be able to understand the depth of her insecurities, her pain, her fear and why being independent is so important to her. He is not discounting her pain, he doesn’t understand her pain yet. He is not understanding that for her, her education is the weapon to get back at everyone who wronged her. Her strength. It will take time, and some more heart to heart talks, but he will get there. Meanwhile they will definitely have clashes n points of dissent. But that will only help in understanding each other in the longer run!!

Anokhi has soo much to tell him about the past. I think Aastha would be a better person to explain the circumstances. She got shot because she helped Anokhi. I can't wait for that ShaKhi conversation, because the protective Shaurya will roar that day!

Falling in love is so easy, but remaining in love takes one hell of an effort. Especially when two broken people fall in love. It is gonna take a lot of understanding for it. They will get there and we will get a wonderful journey of that.

One thing that really broke me to hear today was

“Maa baap ka Pyaar paana har bacche ka hak Hotha hai, you don’t know that feeling hi Jab wo hak Cheen liya jaata hai toh kaisa lagta hai”

My heart was breaking for both of them, coz if for Shaurya that Haq was deprived, for Anokhi that Haq was never given(Yes, she had/has her mother’s love, but not having her fathers will always pain her)

But then my heart broke even more for Shaurya when he said,

Aur jo mila woh karz ki tarah chadhta Gaya. 😭😭

I don’t think till now, he admitted even to himself that BM’s love was never selfless or unconditional. My heart hurts to think, how much and what all she must have made him give up to owe her that karz. Yes, he was never made to feel like a liability as Anokhi was, but he was never allowed to forget that he was a Charity case.

Shaurya broke me! KV deserves all the love for the dialogue delivery, voice modulation and the tears. Shaurya was always holding Anokhi's hand....but as he spoke about his hurt, he kept backing away from her comfort, as if to not spill his sadness onto her.

My poor babies grew up with being a bhoj and owing a karz. They will give each other all the validation that have been missing in their lives until now!

I'm sooooooo glad Shaurya is aware. We had an inkling that he was. But for him to state that his entire childhood was filled with rising debt make me HATE Shaan. Shaurya had a parent present, who was also a Sabherwal, who could've raised him(most likely with pain still), but not that overwhelming debt he feels towards Tej/Devi. Shaan could've save Shaurya from that.

And now Shaurya is making decisions that can pay off the debt, but leave him in a hell hole.

This episode will always remain one of my favorite. And I will keep my trust on the cvs and expect to have an episode dedicated to Anokhi’s pain as well.

Yes..........we need this! Anokhi deserves it! I want Deba to break my heart too.

Today was a day of revelation and perhaps the start of healing. Let’s see how their conversation ends and how he convinces Anokhi. (I am not going to talk about Shagun)

TBH, at the rate the BTS have been flowing in today and in the past few days, I have a feeling we won’t be getting much for the next few days, or once the drama starts! In a way, I’m glad cos it’s all taken it away from the scene for me a little.

@bold: I feel the same way. I like BTS pics, but I don't like videos. I just want to see future outfits and possible scene. But I don't want to see movement or hear dialogue. Being surprised as a viewer is sooooo much better and entertaining.

The most we should get is a short precap. I don't like when they splice is to make it misleading deliberately.

I genuinely enjoyed their heart to heart conversation as much as I enjoyed the romance.

I hope from now on Anokhi showers on love to SS and pampers him so that all the bitterness in his heart is gone..

Sure there will be another such talk regarding Anokhis abusive father later on but for now let her show all the care she can and pamper him.

He is anyway gone crazy in love for her and doing everything possible for her to acknowledge it.
