Finally, I feel better as I slept throughout the day, lampooning with that grubby Post-vaccination fever.
I am better now, and able to rant my heart and crib about how atrocious the Monday morning could be!
I have a few markers for the hallucinations for every character in the show. Daydreaming or hallucinations in storytelling is like Shakespeare’s soliloquies! They give you an insight into the characters’ mind and bring out their most profound insecurities.
For example:
1. Shiva lurking around as a villain in Raavu’s dreams.
2. Maami beating Shiva in her dreams.
3. Raavi using a stick on their wedding night to tame Shiva.
4. Dev dreaming about Rishita during the Sangeet.
5. Rishita dreaming about Raavi ridiculing her.?
In all these scenarios, either it represents wishful thinking or brings out deepest insecurities.
Dhara’s daydreaming is similar. Her biggest fear represented by being thrown away by Suman.
I wonder why Rishita was made a part of her daydream.
The dialogues particularly stood out.
1. Now gone are those days when only one person controlled everything.
2. We will now have a copy of that key that belongs only to you.
3. We will live our lives as we wish too
4. Dhara irritated and saying go live your lives.
My question is, “Are these Dhara’s deepest insecurities?”
She has lived an undisputed control over the lives of the kids. Does bringing new women to threaten her authority scare her?
I would so want Suman to explain all this to her. Men have to be good husbands first and then sons later. A well-raised man loves both equally. And, is for that, the mother needs to step back; she should do that.
Whatever Dhara will suffer post this, I shall not be surprised!
