Maya didn't feel anything for Rishi physically.. and that's actually a major aspect of a marriage.. she just didn't.. her feelings for Rishi were limited to gratitude and friendship.. it's not really necessary that you fall in love with a great friend.. She had that sexual attraction to Dev

Not true. That’s why so many people cheat in real life because like I said, it’s very important to be sexually connected to your partner. Maya felt no chemistry with Rishi and felt more like a friend (plus also a burden) to him.

But she did with Dev and though she shouldn’t have cheated, it’s hard to walk away from a marriage and so much easier to just build a separate world with your lover where you escape to when you’re not with your spouse.

Bold 2: along with that she (and him) made each other jealous my romancing with their respective partners in front of them and that I find really gross, if you aren't emotionally/physically attracted to your spouse why give them that hint🤢

If it was from rishi and Rhea's perspective I/other people would have liked it. But it was from dev and Maya's (read, cheaters) perspective

Yes.. she could and should have.. I am not justifying the cheating.. I have always maintained that I understand why Dev and Maya got attracted/ fell in love.. I wish they had walked out of their marriage as soon as they realized there was nothing in it

My response was based on what you said that if someone nice like Rishi couldn't keep Maya happy, Dev never could.. that's not really true.. Maya felt indebted to Rishi.. she and Dev were on equal footing as both had shortcomings and flaws.. so there's quite a high chance they would be happy together

The cheating of course was wrong and unjustifiable
