caryn, i don't think saif is too boyish for the role of karthik in unnale unnale. karthik was a total flirt & believe it or not, that's what saif is in real life & most of the time in reel life too. he'll be perfect for it.

however i'm now rethinking if preity would be apt for sada's role. i feel rani would be more apt for it. after all the role needs a lot of emoting, both verbal & silent. rani is undoubtedly the better actress out of the two so i think she'll do a good job as jhansi.

karthikka i agree with you. saif is a cutie but it's too bad he's such a flirt as well.

i just watched Ta Ra Rum Pum yesterday & thought it was a great family film. maybe they should try to remake it too. i would like to see madhavan & sada in saif's & rani's role. not many of this generation's actresses have enough guts to act in the role of a mother. sada is one exception. sangeetha & sandhya are the other two exceptions but i don't like sangeetha with madhavan & sandhya will probably look like maddy's younger sister.😆😆😆 so sada it is.

The reason why I chose Preity for Sada's role was because I remembered her acting something similar in Kal Ho Na Ho.

Hey, that Ta Ra Rum Pum looks good, yaar!

Ta ra rum pum was an okay movie for me, though very poorly directed. There were way too many bloopers.
And Saif and Rani looked fresh in Hum tum, but a bore in Ta ra.

But don't you think, if Saif and Preity/Rani do Unnale unnale, it won't have the same 'young look' tht Vinay and Sada gave?I'd cast Ranbir/Shahid 😉It'll be nice to see Ranbir talking and talking and flirting
