Ok.Then be it like that so Adi dreamt of carefree and SRK version of himself😆 with a carefree Imlie For AdiLie I buy it that also.

I thought we would get a nice long solo performance from Imlie.....lol but her solo part got over in like 30 seconds and then got split into a two part dream sequence😆. Really didn't care much for the first part on the stage which felt overly filmy and not Adi-Imlie like. Second part in the garden area worked better cuz it had more of their regular banter.....her hiding something behind her back, him trying to see what it was, then her tickling him😆, him getting miffed and then finally her jumping on his back like the little monkey that she is😆.....the piggyback ride visual was cute :)

As a stand alone sequence, the second part of the dream sequence I can live with.....but the overall lack of build up was very jarring....lol the Adi who was otherwise running over all worried that Imlie had fainted, saw her do two dance steps and went into SUCH a trance that he imagined AISA dream sequence?😆 This - the guy who barely imagined anything after confessing his love to her, after this most recent buried alive hugs/kisses wala interlude also.....lol usko aaj is level tak le gaye makers in the need for a token gimmick?😆

Personally feel that time would have been better spent showing Adi-Imlie actually interacting and growing their bond in the REAL world....but chalo jinke liye yeh lollipop ghusaya, hope those people are satisfied.

Anyways, the rest of the epi was built around the hoopla of whether or not Imlie will sambhaalo family ki izzat through this performance😆.....as expected, drama build up kiya over whether she will get to perform or not, Aparna showing saas wala skepticism....lol then again the usual rounds of "Imlie let us down" when Imlie fainted on stage😆.....to finally the guilt trip when Adi produced CCTV footage😕🤣 to prove how Imlie was going above and beyond for those who don't even seem to consider her apna😆.....Finally Aparna ki conscience seems to have jaagoed and she's making her way over to Imlie by the end of the epi.

Monday feels like it will be better and more in-line Adi-Imlie wise given that long look they shared in the recent spoiler clip :)

Adi somehow knew that Imliya will faint and her sasumaa and badi sasumaa will thaana maro her 😆

He kept all back ups ready in her defense 🤣

Exactly and she had legit no reaction she was twirling and focusing on her act as was shown by aparna keeping the count of her feet tapping too.. her whole focus was the act not koi sapne..rofl jai ho.imlie ki if she imagined the whole thing simultaneously rofl mm woh bhi beenari main...the girl hardly reacted afger she woke up and was still scared as shit and sick af..to do any dreaming..

So here’s my trepidation on what’s coming next. While I may not be a regular television viewer, I guess I can still see to an extent when something is being forced down to pander to a certain section of the audience.

Imlie’s journey is supposed to be the base of this story. Aditya her support who propels this journey forward so she can reach her full potential every step of the way in everything she does. Using them in dream sequences coming right out after a fainting spell is not who they inherently are. Aditya’s alter ego dance in PD is who they are. Had they done this keeping story and character continuity relevant, I would have still taken it but everything looks thrown in haphazardly right now. That is the problem I have going in to next week as well because the makers are still out there on another platform dangling carrots which means this is not ending anytime soon.

I have nothing against the dance itself because GM and ST salvage pretty much everything they are in

One had to go by evidence and not make up assumptions...lol 😆 and we are only saying what was shown in the act.. also imlie ji kahan se yeh dream karne lagi jab she is all about didi rofl she has never allowed her subconscious to be this free she will not.. wahin marr jaati didi ka soch ke.. it is not her She never let lose

I either have to wipe out the whole first half of the dance sequence from my memory or assume it is Imlie’s imagination as her face is focused just before the dream started (I know it is insane for anyone to dream while performing dance on stage 😉).. because I cannot for the life of me, digest that it is Adi’s imagination, doesn’t go with his character.

They should have just continued Imlie’s solo performance and then just did the second portion of the dream sequence. That was very much Adi-Imlie we know

I can’t wait for Monday either. I think the whole family might do a dance or Apu and Imilie will perform

I have to say I did not care for the dream sequence dance. I wish makers would have let Imlie do her solo dance performance. I liked her initial solo parts. The dream sequence was too abrupt. Adi was so worried about Imlie one moment & next moment he started daydreaming about dancing with Imlie. Plus the onstage dance with lipsync was so off character. This would not be something Adi would dream about as a character.

The 2nd part in the lawn was a bit better with their chedkani. Trying to tickle each other & the piggy back ride. I especially liked the last little head butt in the end.

Aparna giving Imlie the ghungroos was a nice scene. But too much emphasis on family ki izzat throughout the epi. Adi caring for Imlie & refusing to let her perform was so in character. The small Imlie-Sundar scene was also good.

Imlie reaching onstage before Adi was weird when she was not able to run after him just a moment before. So the entire setup of the dance sequence was weird.

People complaining about the performance getting stopped whe the performer had fainted was also weird. Good to see the Tripathis except for Aparna & Radha running onstage after Imlie fainted. Even Nishant was running really fast🤣.

Radha is just too much with her bitchy comments. Aparna was worried but still didn't want to show her fikar. Adi's dramatic speech in the end with showing the video proof of how Imlie got fever saving the day was a bit too much. Anyways now that the gimmicky part is over we will get a better episode on Monday.

I cannot take Didi's concern for Imlie seriously at all. She will show concern now & get angry if DC shows his own concern. So no point in expecting any genuine concern from her towards Imlie.

Yup itni lollipops se mujhe diabetes ho jaayegi am her for soul not superficiality and am all for sweetness if it goes along with the vibe of the show the characters. Just caz I like 2 people onscreen together doesn't mean I like or enjoy everything they do caz that is the popular expectation....sorry If I can't fake my praises and do not belong to one has to like everything all the time.. doesn't make me not a fan ...🤷‍♀️ the bits that were good we appreciated too ...

I put it in the WU thread as soon as I saw the episode earlier. And it was an unpopular opinion 😆 I was the first one to find it odd and people were shocked that I could not see the love for Imlie in Aditya’s eyes 🤣 Faryji joined in for a bit toh I was not alone 😆
