Tejo, and her missing life

I am well aware that I am in the minority here, as I am not a fan of Tejo or Jasmine (but I prefer Jasmine to the Tejo.) I sincerely ask: when will Tejo get a life that does not involve Jasmine or Fateh? I don't buy into this best friend business between these two; they met about one month ago. Fateh has no best friend to confide in, just Tejo? She is supposed to be older, have a job; does she have friends or dreams of her own? You would think she would be happy that her marriage didn't work out so she can stay in the Punjab, which is what she claims she wants. She is too involved in Jasmine's life and is probably responsible for some of Jasmine's helplessness and lack of maturity. Tejo just has to sweep in and save the day. She is constantly in Fateh's business. No it's none of Tejo's business if he lost his job; it's actually between the parents and Jasmine and Fateh. Where does her loyalty lie, with her so-called best friend for one month or with her own sister? More importantly, why is she in the middle of everything? Crying on Fateh's shoulder remembering her wedding; how about she cry on her sister's arm or her mother's? It's not Jasmine or Fateh's fault that her marriage didn't work out; I would think she is happy and should be moving on with her life. She's a busy body. I may not like that Aunt Nimmo but she has a point: why is Tejo always there even at Fateh's house. That is the house of Jasmine's inlaws; what is she constantly doing there. I am so tired of how one dimensional her character is; the writers need to stop making her the savior of every story and let others solve their problem. We get it: somehow Fateh and Tejo will end up together, which I don't agree. I think Fateh and Jasmine make a much more intense and passionate couple. However, if the end result is Tejo and Fateh, at least let the other characters work their issues out without always throwing her in the middle of every thing.

Well, for a matter of fact, even I don't like the typicality the makers serve through Tejo's character. But they can't entirely keep her in the background, specially when there's only one male lead in the show. They have to get her involved in some way or the other.

Regarding Tejo's involvement with Fateh, I don't find it wrong in any way. She doesn't even got any romantic feelings for him so as to resent about her sister's alliance with him. She is a happy sibling who is enjoying her sister's wedding. And what's wrong if they are shown as friends? That Fateh senses her problems and supports her. It's true that Tejo needs to stand up for herself rather than taking his support, but it was just done to develop a connection btw the two.

And regarding Fatejo being the endgame, wasn't that very obvious from day 1? They kept on providing several hints for their union. So there's nothing surprising in this.

If you feel that JasFa has got a better chemistry, it's well and good. No issues for that.

At the end of the day, it's the makers choice as of on whom they rely on to take the story forward.

Sorry. I don't understand Hindi. I watch the show in the US with subtitles. However, within the last week, even Jasmine has begun grating on my nerves. At this point, I like neither female leads. Don't know who to root for, but I do like Fateh; he is an awesome character. The actor is very good looking.

In the US, it was promoted as Jasmine being the lead. I assume it was the opposite in India. At first, I thought that Jasmine and Fateh would fall in love and the show would be about how she changes her mind about going to Canada because she chose love. Clearly, the character is written in an irredeemable fashion I am assuming to make a Fatejo pair. Writers must be careful, though because, at this point, I like neither Jasmine nor Tejo. They shouldn't have to write Jasmine as a demon in order to make Tejo an angel. Both characters can benefit from more subtlety. If the show doesn't improve, I will just tune out.
