Part 3
Raghav was bought inside Pallavi room and the Dr together witha nurse arrive to Desmukh house at nick of the time. Thanks to Hariesh for his effort and Farhad for his thoughts. Everyone asking Farhad about the happening and he told them about the shot, bring him to hospital and Raghav stuborness on coming to Desmukh house. They all were shocked and could not digest what Farhad told. All of them wanders in their own world. Pallavi was sitting on the chair staring into her hand. It was red colour and it is not sindoor but blood of her love of life. Blood of her Ghamandi Rao. Blood of Raghav Rao. But Pallavi does not shed a single tear post that scene and that what make everyone else felt scared for her.
Besides Pallavi, Amma was crying while Keerti was trying calm down Amma who is worried for his only son, Raghav. She didnt want to lose the last Rao in the family and was praying to Venkateshwara for her son well being. Keerti have to stay strong for her Amma because she knows that her Anna surely will survive this and he will scold her if she did not do the duty as daughter when he was away or when he was far from them. She did not want to lose her only brother praying hard to god that Raghav to survive this.
On Desmukh family behalf,Sulochana, Amruta, Mansi-Rahul was shocked nd sitting quietly at the corner waiting for Dr arrival from room. Nikhil was crying because he cannot see his jija in that state and his Pallavi didi who is sitting like a dead body far from him. He saw her like that once when his own brother Mandar passed away and now he saw the same view again. Milind was trying to console Nikhil but he himslef praying for Raghav health. Milind and Raghav has become more like best friend jodi when Raghav try to regain Desmukh family trust and love. Through out those process, Raghav sometimes talk heart to heart with him and he will give solution and suggestion on how to overcome them. Aai was crying too because he already accept Raghav as his own son like Mandar and their bonding have been the cutest where Raghav learned a lot about Pallavi favourites from Aai. She even teached Raghav on ways to impress Pallavi is not thru money but thru love,respect and a lot of effort. She even remember this year when she slapped Raghav to leave the house for his husband health, Raghav did not argue and follow the command like a good son. She felt sad and bad for Raghav that why god always challenge Raghav and also her Pallu. But top of all, what was most shocking was Vijay Desmukh. He also sat at a corner thinking about all the arguement that he had with him, how times that he had slapped him and how time he had humilated him in front of everyone. But still, Raghav always came back to him like spring and calls him SANKI SASUR. It was 3 months ago where on Fathers Day, Raghav brought Pallavi to Desmukh house so she can wish and celebrate Fathers Day with Vijay Desmukh
(Flashback)
Raghav: Okay everyone the cake is here. Sanki sasur and Milind buddy come in front. You guys are the fathers over here and you guys need to cut the cake.
Vijay does not like the presences of Raghav over here plus he brought the cake and decorate the house grandly and now creating a scene. Aai went near him and asked him to cut the cake and later on enter back to his room so that the their rest of the kids will not feel bad about it. Vijay listen to his wife advice and went and stand beside Milind to cut the cake. Raghav passed a wink to Aai and Aai give him a thumbs up indicating their plan has succeed. They sang song and cut the cake and both Milind and Vijay feeding cake to people around them. Milind feed the cake to everyone present over there and was extremely happy. Vijay look at Pallavi who was waiting for her Baba to feed her the cake after Vijay feed the cake to everyone except Raghav and Pallavi. Aai sign Vijay by her eyes to feed Pallu some cake and Vijay just feed her a bit of cake to Pallavi without looking her and for Pallavi it was already enough for her as her Baba blessed her today by feeding the cake.
Raghav too was eagerly waiting and longing for his sanki sasur to feed him cake, but he just put the cake and excuse himself from the party. Raghav was heartbroken by this act of Vijay but he try to cover it up with smiles and asked everyone to eat the special food for the day, but from far Pallavi, Aai and Milind noticed it. Aftermath the celebration, it was raining heavily and Aai asked Raghav and Pallavi to stay and go tomorrow to which Pallavi and Raghav agreed. Pallavi went with Aai and had talks and sleep with her that night. Raghav was sitting at the stairs in front of the Desmukh house looking at heavy pouring rain. Milind saw him sitting there and come and sit by Raghav.
Milind: Arey Raghav, it already too late man. You dont have work tomorrow and did not want sleep ya?
Raghav(wiping his face when he heard Milind voice): Arey buddy. Nothing like that. The weather is nice otside that why I am sitting here
On the other hand, Vijay cannot sleep and keep on turning on his bed. At one time he gave up and thought of going outside to get some fresh air. He come out of the room and saw Milind is sitting down asking why Raghav is not sleeping and hear the full conversation after on.
Milind: Sach bolo Raghav. You sitting here because my dada behaviour today right? I know it and dont you dare to lie to your buddy okay
Raghav: Aapko kaise pata?
Milind: Phir tumhara chehra kyun itna sad hai or woh bhi tumhara eyes kyun swollen hogaya hai.Raghav,beta I know that I am elder than you in terms of relationship and age but the way you tackle the situation just now was beautiful buddy. You are the one of the best dhamaal anyone can afford for.
Raghav: Vijay baba does not consider me like that
Vijay who was listening to this was shocked when he heard Raghav calling him baba.
Milind: Aise kuch nahi. I know my Dada. He look hard rock outside but he is soft like flower inside. You see one day he will gonna accept you and you both will be the best buddy and you will forget me.
Raghav: Kabhi nahi buddy
Milind(sensing that Raghav still so sad and thinking about something): Raghav mausam acha hai. Its raining now. But you know right how does rain comes? When the cloud decides to let go it all the water that it absorb through out the day. Same like the feelings. If you keep it bottle up, one day it will destroy you so let it go by crying it okay and its okay for the man to cry and if you want to talk about anything I will listen to you and you wanna a shoulder to cry you have mine and I am sure that if you cry also no one listen in the house because it raining heavily.
Milind knows that Raghav is exhausted with a lot emotion that going on since the day he married to Pallavi till now. He really want to Raghav to feel better by crying it out. Rahgav chuckles at the abstract that Milind was trying to compare to. Raghav saw Milind face and out of sudden Raghav burst into burst while hugging Milind leg with his arm and laid his head on Milind lap. He crying uncontrollably and Milind was just caress Raghav hair. Raghav in between cries talked;
Raghav: You know buddy, when I lost my Appa when I was 17, my Amma disowned me and left me alone. I grew up in this Hyderabad with a lot diffculties and challenges. Through out that process all I gain was power and violences. And that how I reached to place I am right now. If my Appa was alive, he would have beaten me and raise me in a properly like how Mandar was to Vijay Baba. Since then I am searching for a father figure with love and Vijay baba always beat and slapped me whenever I do anything wrong and thats make me remember of my Appa. Today when I was waiting for Vijay baba to feed me cake and he went away, I felt like I was the same helpless kid that standing and searching for fathers love at 17.
Saying that Raghav broken down very badly and even Milind could not control his tears. Raghav cries dissolve together with heavy rain.
Milind: Bas bas bohot hogaya. You see Raghav Im sure you not gonna be the best dhamaal to dada but best son to him. I am sure the day will come.
By the way, why you dont call dada as baba when you are in front of him?
Raghav(while wiping his tears off): I want to call him as baba too but I scared he will become more sanki and beat me up
Milind and Raghav laughs at their jokes while looking the heavy downpour. Vijay who was listening to this whole conversation also had tears in his eyes. Since then he never slapped or beaten or taunt Raghav whenever he comes to D’s house. He just keep quiet and participate in whatever things that Raghav will arrange and that itself bring a lot of happiness in Raghav’s face.
(Flash back ends)
After an hour, Dr came out and tell the whole family;
Dr: he is out of danger and given him some blood transfusion. He is fine now. I have given him some painkiller. Please feed him some food and give the medicatiom. He look very weak. Let him take rest okay. Anything just let my nurse over here know okay. She will stay here till tomorrow evening.
All of them was relieved by the news given by Dr and went inside the room to see Raghav except for Pallavi. Farhad noticed that waits together with bhabhi outside in case she needs anything. Raghav was lying on bed with bandage on his left shoulder. Amma and keerti went nearby and hold his hand crying badly.
Raghav: Amma Keerti I am fine. Keerti please bring Amma back home and feed her. Amma go with Keerti and I will come back tomorrow to our house okay.
Amma nods knowing that he is exhausted and dont want to disturb him. Amma and Keerti left the room followed everyone else except for Aai,Milind and Sanki sasur.
Raghav: Aai main tikey you go and take rest. Buddy you too and Sanki sasur aap bhi.
But much to his surprise, Vijay walk towards Raghav and sat beside him. Even Milind and Aai was shocked.
Vijay: Main hamesha soch tha hoon kyun meri beti tumko ghamandi rao ka naam raaka and now I understood it.
Raghav(dont know what to said towards his sasur approach): woh main....
Vijay: No more a words. After this if you make my daughter cry with this stunts all then I will kill you. Undestand?
Raghav nodded his head.
Vijay: You dont have a mouth. Speak up.
Raghav: You only asked me to keep quiet. Okay, Sanki sasur.
Vijay gets up from beda nd was walking away from Raghav ans stop right before exit the door.
Vijay(stern tone): Raghav......
Raghav: Ji sanki sasur
Vijay(stern tone): Stop calling me sanki sasur. I am your Baba and you better start calling baba after this.
Raghav was on cloud nine because finally Vijay ji accepted him as one of his familly member and a tear rolled down his eyes.
Raghav: Ji baba.
Vijay smiled and walked away. Milind and Aai was happy for Raghav and knows that he had enough for today. Aai smiled and Milind wave a virtual high five to Raghav as sign of victory. Milind and Aai went out and Farhad saw it. Farhad went inside and look at his Anna.
Raghav: Farhad you what happened? Vijay ji asked me to call him as Baba after this onwards and I am so happy yaaaa.
Farhad was happy for his Anna but he felt sad looking the way bhabhi sat down outside the room. Raghav saw Farhad facial expression and understood something wrong.
Raghav: Farhad why you looking sad? I am fine now and what happened?
Farhad: I am happy for you Anna but it just bhabhi sat outside sadly and I could not bear that view
Raghav: Oh my god Pallavi...saree ka dukaan tikey naa? Usse kuch nahi hua nah? (Saying while try to get out of bed)
Farhad: Bhabhi tikey Anna. Dont worry. I will ask bhabhi to bring food for you but please stay put where you are or not I will resign and go away.
Raghav was shocked with Farhad confesion and stay silently in his place waiting for his Saree ka dukaan.
