Part 1

It was the festive of the year where all the married woman will be fasting for their beloved husband on Karwachauth day. It symbolize the love of wife towards their husband by praying for their longevity life and health. Pallavi woke up early to have her Saagi with Amma nd she started to fast since the early morning. Raghav who was unaware about today events had made a full line of meetings and work with Farhad for whole day long. Raghav woke and saw Pallavi was not beside him on the bed.

Raghav: Arey, where does Saree ka dukaan goes this early morning? Let me go and have check

Raghav freshen up and gets down to have breakfast. He saw Amma and Keerti having their meals and then he saw Pallavi was looking beautiful in her Marathi style saree and she wears all the symbol of a suhagaan. Raghav was mesmerized by Pallavi look and in between he forgot that he was coming down the stairs. Out of sudden, Raghav almost tripped down and caused himself in a very hurtful situation but thank god Farhad was there.

Farhad: Annaaa

Raghav (panting): Thanks Farhad. You saved my life today.

Pallavi,Amma and Keerti who saw this event was scared and came running towards Raghav and Farhad. Pallavi was on the brink of crying.

Pallavi: Raghav you okay na? Nothing happened to you nah?

She was asking question while checking her from his head to toe to make sure he is not hurt and fine. Raghav felt weird with Pallavi's behaviour today because she was extra concern and he can see her genuinely worried for him.

Raghav: Saree ka dukaan mein tikey. Amma Keeeti I am fine. Saree ka dukaan why you are getting so anxious today. Its not as in I am going to die today.

And thats all. Raghav felt a sharp pain in his right cheek and he know at the moment that he got slapped and he had did something. To his surprise, he thought it was his Amma who slapped him but it turns out Pallavi slapped him.

He kinda shocked and made a puppy face. He even noticed the facial expression on his Amma and Keerti is scary as hell.

Raghav: Pallavi, Amma kya hogaya? Why you guys look so serious and saree ka dukaan why do you slap me?

Amma: Raghav you dont know what day is today?

Raghav: Yes today is Thursday and today is.......... Is there something I forget?

Saying that he gave a look to Farhad to give him some hints but Farhad also was clueless and speechless as well. Amma who cant believe at his son's attique went near him and start to pull his ear aside.

Raghav: Amma please leave my ear Amma. It is painful. Please Amma.

Amma: What a big ghaade are you? You living in this earth or in another world? Today is yours and Pallavi first Karwachauthand how can you forget this?

Raghav was surprised and felt so idiotic at that time.

Raghav POV

How can I forget the day? I planned a lot for the day and I just forget like that. Yeah, it all because of Farhad who made me change into new phone and I forget the date set in previous phone. But why I got slapped? Arey yaar, talking about death in front your wife and that too today? Venketeshwara please save me today

Raghav: Pallavi I am sorry, I should not have talked like that especially today

Pallavi give him a sharp serial killer look make him change his statement while letting a tear escaped from her left eye

Raghav: I meant I will never talk about it anyday okay. Saree ka dukaan please stop crying and smile nahhh. Its a good day. So smile for me please. Acha I will hold my ears and please smile

Pallavi cannot stay any longer angry at his husband antics and smile. Upon that, Amma, Keerti and Farhad also had a relieve looking the situation.

Pallavi: Okay leave this all. Now come and have breakfast first.

Raghav: No Pallavi

Pallavi: Why Raghav? You dont like the menu today? I can ask Reddy do whatever you like.

Raghav: Its not that Saree ka dukaan. I promised myself that on our first and for every upcoming Karwachauth, I will fast too for your health and longevity life.

Pallavi: Joke mat maaro Raghav subah subah. Tum or fasting?

Raghav (in a serious tone): I am serious and I really meant it Pallavi. I will fast for you today and we will break the fast together. This is PROMISE I made to you and I will fulfill it.

Pallavi: But Raghav you did not eat anything since yesterday and how....

Raghav: Saree ka dukaan, I am getting late and I have a lot of work done before tonight I see you in red till then stay tuned Mrs Raghav Rao

Saying that Raghav left house along with Farhad but Pallavi felt one kind since the morning incident. She distracted herself and went to call Aai and tell how she felt. Aai made her calm down and tell her to trust on her husband as he will protect Pallavi and family from danger. Still Pallavi felt kind of restless. Aai invited Rao's family to break the Karwachauth fast at Desmukh Niwas. A lot of things have changed. Raghav is now Aai best buddy and Milind Kaka and Nikhil are like best friends. There is still a little heat between Raghav and Baba but Baba is okay with Raghav in the house and it does not bother him anymore. Raghav slowly building bond with everyone in the house and Pallavi was glad and blessed that all getting back in position. But she still havent express her love towards Raghav. In front of the whole world, they both accept each other as husband wife but come to love both are shy to express and agree about it.

Pallavi: Yeh Ghamandi Rao bhi na mujhe jeena haaram kardega.

At Jayanti Jewels, Raghav finished all the meeting with his client as soon as possible because he cant wait to see his Saree ka dukaan face again tonight.

Farhad: Anna all things are done for today. Now lets go home before the time or not you will get smacked again...hahahahhah btw anna you dont feel hungry?

Raghav: Laugh Farhad laugh. What else you can do? Let me give you a piece of advice Farhad. Never get married ya. Man's will value will go down market. Hungry toh hai but I can atleast do this for my Saree ka dukaan

Farhad : Haha yes Anna. Lets go we have another 3 hours only for the festive and we need to get ready some more.

Raghav: Yeah lets go

Farhad and Raghav gets down from office and walk towards car. A pair of eyes was observing all Raghav Rao movements since today morning. The person had a gun in his hand and was aiming at Raghav. He locked the target in the gun and pointed towards Raghav.

The person: Aaj tum toh maare ga Raghav Rao and all my revenge today will be fulfilll hahahahhaa

And BAAAMMMMM

All the people around the area was shocked and shouting hearing the sound and some people started to run here and there.

Farhad was shocked and got scared too to witness this whole incident.

Farhad: Anna get in the car now. We have to move from here fast.

While saying that Farhad turn to his anna and he gets the horror of his life as a bodyguard and what he saw was something he cannot imagine in his life. There, his Anna, Raghav Rao was covered in blood that dripping from his upper left chest and noticed his face was in pain and disbelief. He was losing control slowly and things become hazy around him. The only word come out of his mouth before he knocked out;

Raghav: PALLAVI

Farhad : ANNAAAAAAAA

Farhad is holding his Anna in his arms who is bleeding profusely and Farhad is shouting help from Jayanti Jewels guards.

Ps: Hey guys Evarasha here again. Just though of writing this piece since Raghav talked about the scared tree in MHRW. I am not aware of the tradition so I changed it with Karwachauth. Please let me know if you want to me continue. Maybe another 2 parts I guess and let me tell you taht it gonna super freaking dramatic ones

Part 2

Pallavi is getting ready for Karwachauth tonight. She wants to look beautiful in front of her Ghamandi Rao till he cannot took his eyes off her.

Pallavi: You will dumbfounded Ghamandi Rao seeing me like. Cant wait to see your expression,hhahaa...

Pallavi put on all the accesory and shuhagan ka nisaan amd only one last touched left which was Sindoor. She looks at the sindoor and remember on what circumstances they got married and how their life has evolved since then. She used hate red colour in her life and always to try to get rid off it but once Raghav enter her life, she become fond of its colour because red makes remember her suhagan status and her suhagan is Raghav. She was about to put the sindoor to her itself but later stopped.

Pallavi: Let Ghamandi Rao get home and he himself will put sindoor on my forehead.

Amma: Pallavi beta tum ready hogaya kya? We gonna leave like in another 30 minutes

Pallavi: Arey Amma but we have more than 2 hours. Why we are going early?

Amma: Keerti want to get some stuff on the way and we need to do prepation at your house too nahhh

Pallavi: But Amma how about Raghav? When he comes here no one will be here then

Amma: Main toh booligaya. You call and inform Raghav that we going to your house and ask him to get ready and come there. Ask him to come on time. My son have punctuality issue especially during important festival only.

Pallavi: Okay Amma. I will call him and come down faster.

Amma : Okay jaldi aaah

Pallavi look at her phone screen where her Ghamandi Rao smiling at her. She unlocks it and call Raghav and waiting for him to take the call but the situation so serious on the other side.

Farhad is holding Raghav at the back seat of the car applying pressure at gunshot wound. He tries to wake up his Anna but his Anna is not responding at all.

Farhad: Hariesh drive faster. We cannot lose Anna today. We cannot.

Hariesh: Farhad bhai, Anna ko kuch nahi hoga. Aap please put the pressure on his gunshot area.

Farhad: Tumko pata hai Hariesh. Aaj Karwachauth hai aur both Anna and Bhabhi is fasting each other for their health and longevity aur aaj hai yeh sab hona hai kya

Hariesh on the other hand listening to Farhad story and drive as fast as he could to reach hospital.

Farhad: Ya Allah, please meri Anna ko save kareye.

Saying that Farhad cries and then there they almost reach hospital. Hariesh gets the strecher and both Hariesh and Farhad lied their Anna on it and roll it inside the hospital

Farhad: Dr,Nurse please treat Mr RR. He is B+ blood group and he has lost a lot of blood.

Dr: Mr RR, oh my god, nurse STAT to OT and thanks Farhad for information

Farhad let go his Anna bloody hand and stopped outside the OT. Hariesh followed behind him. Suddenly, a phone rang and it is coming from Farhad blood coated blazer. He took it out and saw Pallavi bhabhi name on the phome screen. It was Raghav Anna's phone.

Farhad: Hariesh,bhabhi is calling Anna. What should I said to her? Hariesh tell me nah faster

Hariesh: Bhai,just tell the truth to Bhabhi she has the rights to know about Anna....

Farhad: Yes you are right. She has the rights to know about anna but NOT TODAY!

Saying that Farhad took a deep breath and answer Pallavi call.

Pallavi: Raghav tum kahan ho? I was trying to call you many times but you did not pick up my call at all. Raghav kuch toh bolo ya. Raghav are you there? Raghav?

Farhad: Hello bhabhi mein Farhad bol rahu

Pallavi: Arey Farhad sorry mein bhi bohot baat kar thi ho. Tum Raghav ke phone kyun uthaa? Raghav kahan hai?

Farhad: woh bhabhi woh Annaa...woh Annaaa...

Pallavi(Sensing Farhad is nervous and she begin to scared): Kya hua Farhad? Kuch hua kya? Farhad is Raghav okay? Why he is not speaking? Farhad say something?

Farhad(composing himself): bhabhi aap bhi na. Woh anna is talking one of the important client from Arab and the client is leaving India today that why I picked up the phone

Pallavi: Acha,Farhad mein amma aur sab leaving to Desmukh house. You and your Anna go home change into traditional attire and come there okay.

Farhad: okay bhabhi. Anything else?

Pallavi: (paused a while)....tell that Ghamandi Rao that I am waiting

With that Pallavi cuts the call and a tear roll down from Farhad eye.

Hariesh: Why you lie to Bhabhi bhaiya?

Farhad: Life is uncertain Hariesh. Whatever can happen in split of time and those times will not come back. The only thing that jolds ones life is HOPE. Thats what I gave bhabhi in terms of time.

What a situation you have let me down God Farhad thought himself. After 20 minutes Dr comes out amd Farhad and Hariesh hope that everything was fine.

Farhad:Dr Anna kaisa hai?

Dr: Mr RR is fine now. He was so lucky that the bullet did not pass near his heart area and your first aid through out your journey here was correct and precise.

Farhad: Dr when he will awake?

Dr keep quite for a while and that scared both of Anna's favourite bodyguards

Hariesh: Dr why are you quiet? You said all good nah?

Dr: Yes, all good it just that your Anna is still awake till now because he did not that anesthetics before surgery.

Farhad/Hariesh:What? Dr what are you talking?

Dr: Yes,he insist on that and we carry on procedure without it and just give him some painkillers. He is a stromg man.Never I have seen a man im my life who coukd take this much pain for some reason. Anyways, I have another patient to attend. You can visit your Anna inside.

Farhad/Hariesh: Thank you so much Dr

Farhad and Hariesh rushed inside amd saw their Anna lying in pain with white bandage all over his left shoulder and body. Raghav saw them and the next moment Farhad and Hariesh ran to hug Raghav.

Raghav: Aaahhhhh

Farhad: Sorry Anna. Anna aap toh hamara jaan nikal diya

Hariesh: Haan Anna

Raghav: Farhad...

Farhad: boliye anna

Raghav: Pallavi called you? Did you tell about this?

Farhad: No Anna. I lied to bhabhi that you were in some sort of meeting with clients

Raghav: Good. Gorilla go and take my new suit from the car and I need to change and go to Desmukh family

Farhad: Anna what are talking? You just got shot and you want to go right away? Plus you did not have anything since morning. How I will let you go Anna?

Raghav: Woh saree ka dukaan bhi mujhko wait karaha hoga. Aur wo bhi kuch nahi kaya. And I promise her Farhad that we will broke the fast together on our first Karwachauth

Farhad: But annaaa...

Raghav: No ifs and buts. Do whatever I said Farhad. Today no one can stop me. Ardham Aithaa Farhad!!!!!

Farhad knows his Anna. Once his Anna decided on something, he will go any extend to fulfill to level giving his life away. After all, this is about love of his life so why wouldnt he and Im sure the reason he did not take anaesthetic is to make sure he reached to his bhabhi on time for fast breaking ceremony. God please bless this couple. Raghav get changed and Farhad drive both of them all the way to Desmukh's

Back to Desmukh's house,Aai-Baba,Mansi-Rahul and Milind-Sulochana was getting ready and about to wait for the moon to show up while on other hand, Pallavi walking back and forth in front of the door waiting for glimpse of her Ghamandi rao.Amma sensed Pallavi getting stressed and went near her.

Amma: Pallavi beta Raghav will come ya. You get ready the thali and I will ask Keerthi to call Farhad.

Pallavi: Ji amma.

Pallavi went to get her thali ready and Sulochana who was watching all this started to taunt Pallavi.

Sulochana: Arey Pallavi tumhara Raghav abhi tak nahi aaya kya?

Pallavi: Woh kaku woh kaam mein busy thi paar woh aap aarahaahai. Another few mins he will be here

Sulochana noticed Pallavi forehead is not filed with sindoor and she thought to play a game.

Sulochana: Arey Pallavi. This is abshagun hota hai. You never put sindoor that also today. I hope your Raghav is fine somewhere because I cannot see him till now.

Pallavi noticed that she did not put sindoor and start to panicking out at Sulochana's word. The stair falling incident in morning, nervousness in Farhad voice when answering the Raghav call and this Sindoor wala things. Pallavi was trying to control herself and tears begin to roll down her cheeks. Aai and Amma and all who saw this thing ask Sulochana to shut up and console Pallavi.Even Baba was trying to calm down Pallavi and worried for Raghav.Keerti tried to call Raghav,Farhad and even Hariesh but no one pick up the phone. Pallavi couldnt take it anymore;

Pallavi: Nikhil give me your car keys. I want to go and search for Raghav and Farhad. They are in some kind of problem. They need us, Raghav need me.

Nikhil: Ji didi.

Nikhil gets the key and when they about leave the house, they saw Raghav was entering inside the house with Hariesh. Farhad is no where to seen

Amma: Raghav why you have this late ahhh? You want to me to hold your ears again?

Raghav walks down slowly and carefully towards center of hall and there he saw his saree ka dukaan was beautifully drapes in red saree with all suhaagan but noticed something were missing. He went near the thali and took sindoor walks towards Pallavi and applied on Pallavi's forehead. Pallavi closed her eyes when Raghav applied the sindoor and a happy tears rolls down her face. Raghav noticed that and wipes it away. He knows that the bada bindi had pull some drama for her not putting the sindoor.

Raghav: Now tell me BWA,isnt my wife look beautiful?

Sulochana fumes in anger and went stand beside Milind. All the partners stand infront each other and starts the ritual. The house was full with happiness and all the couple break the fast one by one start with Aai-Baba then Milind-Sulochana then Rahul-Mansi amd final Raghvi.By then Farhad arrived in brand new suit again because his previous suit was full of blood. He noticed everything going well and give look and nod with Hariesh.Pallavi saw Farhad and she look back to Raghav.

Pallavi: Raghav why Farhad look sad and I told him you both to go home and wear traditional attire. What is this? Again three piece suit and what a weird day,you buttoned up your shirt till up today?

Raghav couldnt answer her question while Pallavi took and give the water glass to Raghav to feed her water. Raghav took the glass and feed her water but in process his wound opened again and he can feel the blood gushing out and damping his white shirt inside and thank god for wearing black blazer. With the pain and fearing of getting exposed Raghav control his pain and continue feeding Pallavi water and the sweets. And Pallavi did the same for him. Farhad noticed the blood droplets coming down from Raghav's blazer and ask Hariesh to call the Dr with arrangement of blood bank. Farhad want to bring his Anna back to hospital but he knows that Anna will not listen to him. Raghav look Pallavi face and smiling. Pallavi noticed it;

Pallavi: Yeah see my beautiful face now, who knows later you will not get to see it. Who ask you to come late now see you cannot even admire me properly over here.

Raghav(while controlling pain since his painkiller effects is wearing off): yes, who knows that I will not see this beautiful face of yours again and Im so lucky to have you in my life Saree ka dukaan

Pallavi sensed that Raghav is different from usual and he sound serious and in some kimd of pain. She look around her where everyone was laughing and talking to each other and look at Raghav face. She saw Raghav starts to sweats very badly. Pallavi got scared.

Pallavi: why you sweating like this? Its all because you havent eat anything since last night,come lets go and eat.

Pallavi was about pull his left hand where she notice red droplets dripping from his blazer. Pallavi horror was about come true.

Pallavi: Raghav yeh kya hai?

Raghav: I am sorry and I lo.......vv.....eee y...o..uu Pallaviiiiiii

Saying those words, Raghav closed his eyes and fall into the Pallavi arm losing his consious.

Pallavi: Raghavvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv........
