She is absolutely stalling/looking for excuses to push off her acceptance of Adi so my feel is still that this will continue like this until the divorce....today she again told Adi she believes what he's told her but their love can't be selfish.....lol but then next instant she ran off to prove that KC is not real....lol so it does make it seem like she says something to Adi in the moment but doesn't really mean it.....she isn't really dwelling on his love/her love right now and doesn't really want to ponder over her faith in it....it's easier to focus on finding Didi ka truth instead😆......and yes, she will continue to still keep pushing Adi to go to Malini until the divorce is finalized.....that is the point where she will run out of excuses in a sense....jab woh rishta officially khatam ho jaayega.....the marriage will have been dissolved.....ofcourse, Imlie being Imlie and these writers being what they are😆.....they can resurrect a new round of contrived excuses....but right now to me it does seem like this is heading towards the mental block in Imlie's head being removed once the divorce is finalized. Didi also may manage to put on a convincing show of "forgiveness" for Imlie by then so let's see😆.

Adi thinks that telling everyone the truth will automatically get Imlie her respect in the house so all self-esteem issues will magically be resolved😆.....there is no indication so far of Adi realizing the extent of Imlie's self-worth issues.....he sees this just as a truth based situation as usual....the oversimplification ki sach bol do toh sab automatically sort ho jaayega😆

Adi calling her his choice won’t be a magical fix but it might help her break her out of her current stupor where she’s thinking he got stuck with her and accepted her out of pity.🤔😆 Honestly did any of that stuff he said register on her or did she kinda zone it out.🤣 You know the biggest issue for her is that she never expected him to fall in love with her, so I’m not sure how seriously she ever took his earnest confessions.

The absolute best thing would be is if he figures out the extent and basis of her insecurities and blurts out “Malini tumhara muqaabla kabhi nahi kar payenge, you are the BEST...you are powerful Imaliya.”🤣

@bold3: This exactly. She has never dwelled over his love for her and his confessions and always took them at face value, makes me think how much of it actually registered on her. She’s always immediately shifted her focus to something else, this time it’s finding Didi ka truth, pehle she stopped him from saying it because that was Didi ka haq. She’s been stalling him since day 1 only.😆 My question is why is she stalling him though? Is it because she never expected him to fall for her and that has been such a jhatka that she doesn’t know how to deal with it or did she actually want to spend the rest of her life sambhaloing her rishta alone?😆 This mental block will be removed but let’s prepare ourselves for the next set of mental blocks surfacing.😆

Basically saying if what we feel for each other is actually what it is, how can we be selfish enough to not want the person we are hurting in the process happy. Have not rewatched the episode so I might be wrong.

I actually think they should do a reboot of the "Hum sundar hain"? scene to address this....comedy bhi ho jaayegi and he can remind Imlie of what all she said to him about khud ki sundarta pe KAANFIDENCE rakho😆

Baaki I don't know if they have any intent to build a "realization track" out of any of this.....lol....most of these seem like stalling tactics to keep Imlie in limbo/confused during this divorce track😆

That jungle confession of his is one of my fav scenes. Yes physical beauty doesn’t register on him and he fell for Imlie’s inner beauty and strength of character but sadly now we’ve been shown that outer stuff does matter for Imlie so maybe he should give one or two compliments on her beauty in his style. 😛 No flowery description needed, that would kill their essence.😆 It would frankly be weird too hearing that stuff from Adi .😆

Indeed, it’s a perfect opportunity to reboot hum sundar hai scene but expecting them to miss this opportunity too.

I liked the episode.

How Adhi was poring his heart out to Imlie and giving credit to her for changing his life for good. And explaining to her that he loves her truly. To him he wants to do the right thing by her. So to him he is not stepping over Malini (as he thinks she is with Kunal also). But Imile doesn't believe that hence she has the conflict of accepting her love for adhi. This is a great starting point for them for the next phase of relationship.

First time Adhi is starting to be a bit more self-less. He recognizes Imlie's dilemma and will give her space. He will love her in silence. This is a complete new for Adhi. So far he has taken what he wanted. Recently I went back to see the show from the beginning and he was a true Ass to her in so many settings, so a little redemption and delayed happy ending for him is needed.

The parallel to this is the family going all gaga and how Malini is right for Adhi. How little does Adhi share with his mother. She doesn't know him at all. As a mother myself If I ever end up in this situation where my son doesn't share his deepest pain and love of his life with me, I have failed. She obviously fails to look deep. She is only looking superficially. On the outside both Adhi and Malini look like perfect couple. But they are not. They do not make each other truly happy. Malini always was stepping around Adhi and never truly herself. And Adhi was too selfish and career oriented with her to actually truly love her.

Coming to Malini, her small lie is now spiralling out of control. Now the lawyer uncle knows about it and probably will tell Dev that Malini went to Manali with Kunal. It will be interesting to see where this goes for her. Next few episodes she will be in PD probably interacting with Mithi and Nakli Nani. That will be interesting. The truth will come out to her that Imlie is her sister and what an ass Dev is. That will be very good. She still seems to have a pull towards Imlie despite her marriage failing. I have not been a great Malini fan so far but this track seems really interesting to me. If they write her well from here, I might cheer for her as well. She better give it to Dev once she gets to know the truth.

Precap! Aparna at it again. She seemed like a good mom, so hopefully there would be redemption for her eventually. But she is just annoying at this point. She doesn't even know what the problem is with her son and malini. And just jumped to conclusion that it's Imlie's fault. All her so called love so far wiped out. I won't be seeing her in the same light again.

@bold: Feels like it's a bit of both.....she definitely still hasn't managed to process the fact that he fell in love with her😆. She'd grown comfortable with the lack of reciprocation from him in this rishta😆....the one-sided nature became her comfort zone. Going back to her Meera waali line I suppose...she was content in her one-sided devotion. What would Meera do if Krishna one day came and told her she never knew but she was Radha all along?😆....

But let's put aside the Gods for a second and talk about real and very flawed people here😆. Imlie is short-sighted in her own ways just like Adi is....tunnel vision ka problem dono ko hai, just about different things😆. Imlie never really thought through the long-term ramifications of her intent to nibhaao this rishta one-sided.....it was never going to be a sustainable thing and Adi even before his realization did try to point that out to her....but back then she managed to score brownie points on the power of faith to overcome all arguments😆....

Adi seems to have upended her otherwise "sorted" plan about managing this rishta on her own by falling in love with her 😆.....that was the one thing she was never really expecting to factor in and she's still struggling with trying to fit that into her equation alongside SM, Rishta as aashirwaad logic😆

So she's grasping at straws and a whole host of reasons to disprove his love....it must be pity, it must be zimmedaari, it must be dhoka, it must be naatak😆....anything is acceptable other than it being TRUE😆...

I really don't know what way Adi can specifically say it to her at this point to make her believe it's true😆....she is determined to hear what she wants to and shift focus as needed.....so it seems like it will have to be a case of her running out of excuses and then being left with no choice BUT to face the truth😆

If she really thinks this is about Adi being stuck with her, he had a clear opportunity to be "rid" of her when she left him to go back to PD.....why did he follow her to PD then? 😛....she thinks he let a snakebite nearly kill him out of PITY for her?😆.....it's very easy to poke holes in her bakwaas daya theory.....but it's a stalling tactic, so rehne do and just ride it out😆

LOL toh overall bhi doesn't change the point....whether she means his love or their love combined....she's raising DOUBTS on the validity of it by saying, "AGAR woh saccha hai"😆.....so she very smoothly managed to convey her doubts there even as she made it seem like she's heard him out and accepted what he was trying to tell her.

If she still doesn't even feel this is love after EVERYTHING they've been through😆.....then they've lost the battle before even fighting it.

Haan. That is why I said in my earlier post ki she lied. I did not like her telling him I believe you because she clearly did not even think their love was true enough. And Aditya in a nanosecond just skipped that entire bit and said I’ll wait

Not only is she turning other people around her mad, khud bhi paagal ho rahi hai 😆

And it feels as though she does not even think she’s undeserving of Aditya’s love. Of course there were some two seconds of reflection ki she’s not all that he needs but they’re not showing anything that says she feels unworthy of his attentions. Only when someone else brings up Malini she feels the pinch. These two ladies have some whole other drama happening just between each other making Aditya irrelevant except when he’s not
