Director: Sanjay Gupta Plot: As the tag-line of the film reads, 'In a c need friends to keep you warm.' Alibaug is said to be a semi-autobiographical account of a crucial episode in Gupta's life during his stay in the picturesque, coastal town of Maharashtra. Pros: The multiplex audience is more than happy to embrace anything that's not run-of-the-mill, which Alibaug is projected to be by its makers. Cons: Then again, they didn't give two hoots for Gupta's supposedly unconventional Dus Kahaniyaan. Release date: N/A

The troika, last seen shaking a leg in Bunty Aur Babli's Kajra re, bounce back in a new avatar with this political drama. Cons: RGV's last few films were supreme disasters. Hopefully, the man who made Shiva and Satya has regained his touch with Sarkar Raj. Release date: June 6 |

Director: Vivek Sharma ] Plot: A Super Brat (Aman Siddique) has a ghostly encounter when he bumps into the shabby 'n' crabby spirit, Bhoothnath (Bachchan). Their unique adventures together form the crux of the plot. Pros: Big B doing a Casper sounds fun. Plus, he, along with co-star Juhi Chawla, share a wonderful on-screen rapport with kids. Not to forget, there's SRK pitching in to do a special appearance. And no, it's not for an item number. Cons: Viewers trying to seek a Taare Zameen Par here, will be sorely disappointed

Cons: Best known for the musical Dilwale and The Rock remake, Qayamat, Harry Baweja isn't exactly the name you would associate with a futuristic drama. Release date: July 4
