Somewhere in his heart, Ahaan has accepted his feelings for Ishqi and that is why he is making sure he doesn't become reason for breaking his best freind's wedding. After Ishqi's confession, he let his internal guards down but still has external on. When he told dadi "he is not someone who will melt if someone says they love him", Ishqi's confession was on his mind. It clearly shows how that has melted his heart already. While getting ready, he remembered Ishqi's sweet gesture of kaleerein which makes him feel that Ishqi is the right girl for him but still due to circumstances he has to let her go. He knows she is the right girl for him, he knows he loves her and he also knows she has feelings for him. He could easily confess and win her for himself. So Ahaan is the real one who is "Sacrificing".

Ishqi is still unaware of her feelings and has not given it a name. Kartik keeps bringing 'love' word with Ahaan but nobody has confronted Ishqi. She also feels a deep connection with Ahaan where she senses his pain. Their eyes speak a lot. She always notices his tears, be it during Jagrata or other day when she herself was crying. She relies on him greatly and knows he will be the one who will stand by her always (their car confession). She trusts him and understands him much more than his family. Sonu thinks his bhai will blame her and disown her but Ishqi knows his bhai can be traditional but he does what is right.

I want to go down the soulmates path here... Fate / serendipity type.

Actually they’re not opposites at all ... yes the circumstances of their upbringing have shaped their outlook on life but that is not who they are. At the core, they’re the same selfless people who are trying to take care of everyone around them.

Their initial meeting, I think Ahaan was a bit taken aback - he was in trance albeit for a short time so that was his first step. He is the older, responsible and protector of his loved ones - so he saw a “damsel in distress” and that appealed to him. But then Ishqi was no damsel so it frustrated him and the more she sought to be independent the more it got on his nerves.

I have more to say but it’ll have to wait till tomorrow - super late where I am. So I’ll complete this tomorrow.

I can't get over Ahaan's sadness right now. Even in the background in the sneak peak when Ishqi is giving her hand to Mayank for marriage he looks so sad. Even though he is in denial he looks like he is expecting something to happen even at that moment (in reality if Mayank was good nothing would happen and she would be married, that hurts to think about 😭). Little does he know something will happen, god knows what exactly haha.

First time in ITV I feel this much for Ishqi and Ahaans characters and even though I know they will be together in the end like every other show it feels different. Really brilliant acting by both of them I guess. (idk maybe I have not seen enough shows).

Man why am I becoming so scenty 🤣.

Sigh. I hate how aesthetically gripping and emotionally overwhelming every bit about them is! Out of all Gul's shows and couples, IPZN and IshqAan hits different.

I started watching this a little late, so was it shown earlier how the Mayank-Ishqi alliance was arranged?

Mayank, Ahaan and Raj seem to be from wealthy families, while Ishqi obviously is not from one. How did Suman choose Ishqi as her DIL?

Its a million dollar Question. Only gul knows. Noone knows what mayank does. No idea what ahaan works except tadofying ishki. Ishki ka jaap etc..😂
