In Punjab everyone say Puaji instead of Bua ji.So I'm a little curious why they are saying Buaji on this show instead of Pua ji.Seeing that I was born & raise in the USA, can someone pretty please explain what's the difference between Bua & Pua.As far as I know Bua is Hindi & Pua is Punjabi.Please help!!!

well i dont know either,but as i'am hindu i call my bua fua so maybe just on the serial they are using bua,as its always used in the movies 😉

Bhua is Hindi and Phua is Punjabi. They are using the Hindi version because the characters speak Hindi even though the show is set in Punjab. If you notice, they don't always use Punjabi words e.g. Mummyji instead of Bebe...
