When Karishma was in her prime, Bollywood was way less experimental than what it was in the 2000s. So most of Karishma's early filmography is old school 90s masala comedies.

a lot of Kareena older movies that were experimental also get lost in her filmography. For instance people remember her K3G, but I loved her in Asoka, Dev, Yuva and Chameli. Of course Omkara as well. Class film!

Ki and Ka wasn't a clean Hit and Arjun Kapoor deserved credit for it's success as well. Check out my previous posts to know why I think so.

Golmaal films had Ajay Devgan and franchise value.

That only leaves one fluke VDW, and its not like these films released back to back so what consistency?

no arjun alone would have never pulled 7 cr for ki and ka tevar was different story it was an action masala movie

Then why Kareena gave a mere 2 Crore opening for Gori Tere Pyar Mein which was in the same romance genre?

What happened to her stardom there? If Arjun alone couldn't give a 7 Crore opening for Ki and Ka then neither could Kareena. If Arjun was coming after two Flops then Kareena was coming after disaster GTPM which couldn't even get a good opening.

Heroine was a box office failure (Below Average), so yes, VDW was a Fluke.

That 7 Crore opening for Ki & Ka didn't come only because of Kareena. How many times would I have to explain that?

Okay, Heroine failed because it was a bad film. Same was the case with Manikarnika. It opened at 7 Crores but didn't become a Hit because of the huge budget.

That means Tanu Weds Manu Returns wasn't a fluke either. Also add Queen and Kangana becomes a bigger star than Deepika by your logic.

dude queen opened at 1.8 cr that is even less than gori tere pyaar

manikarnika was about rani laxmi bai you cant compare a movie based on freedom fighter that too an action packed movie with something so offbeat

herione can be compared to queen piku highway
