Tulsi entry CHange in story: Article

The news now from the Ekta Kapoor front is that she has finally managed to get Smriti back onscreen in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as the iconic 'Tulsi'. Well, all was not well between the actress and producer for nearly a year or so, but wonder what made the very egoistic producer to bend down and accept Smriti's clause and get her back?

We have the answer right here.. The 'K' soaps that have been running for years and years now were under a threat from the channel house, and when Ekta was forced to wrap up Kasautii Zindagi Kay, there was an air of insecurity around her. With TRP's dropping considerably in both her long-running serials Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the channel house inclined to call off her pet show Kyunki too, is what we get to hear from our sources.

Now with Smriti entering, where is the story line headed? Well, the audience will surely be thanking their stars as they are not forced to witness another plastic surgery to change Gautami into Smriti. Instead, Ekta will be showing a new plot on the lines of the Hindi movie, Agnisakshi. "The story track has been inspired by Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar and Manisha Koirala starrer film Agnisakshi where Gautami would be portraying Manisha's character. Even Ram Kapoor's cameo character played in the serial would get into action again as he would be the one playing Nana's character. It would be revealed that Smriti never went through a plastic surgery making the track interesting", says our source.

So as we gear up for more drama in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, hope that the reintroduction of Smriti only brings good TRP's for Ekta..

Agnisakshi had a different plot altogahter...here juhi is not in love with mihir......the only common thing is that Juhi and manisha r running from their hubbys....

Thanks.........and the article also says that Smriti is called coz the serial had low TRPS and feared to shut down.....but how? Coz Kyunki has always been number 1 or 2 as per TRPs?....

ritu di i dont think its cuz of low trps..cuz if smriti's presense can increase trps..dan why her shows like MERE APNE, ,TEEN BAHURANIYA HAS SUCH LOW TRPS..
