Kirti is entangled in a web of lies, some fed to her by other people and some by her own reservations. She needs to be true to herself to understand where Nishit stands in her life and she in his.

I love this song! I love the music of silk route, period. This is actually not one of their well known ones.

I love this song too, and yes it's not one of the popular ones. I like Mohit Chauhan's voice.

Interlude

Kirti is in a different zone these days, so it's not fair to blame her. But I feel what she cannot have with Nishit is coming in between of what she can have with him. A beautiful friendship. The class issue is there no doubt, but she knows Nishit is a nice person. Much better than Tejas atleast, who she has been calling her good friend all these years. Maybe she can start with gratitude first. Nishit is always there for Kirti. As a friend, mentor, philosopher, guide. Sometimes as a silent support and sometimes even as a punching bag. But he is there, if not at the front, but hovering in the background and taking charge when the situation demands. Like how he managed to take her home when he knew she was alone; how he didn't force her to eat but made sure she had a glass of milk ("You think only you can hold grudges?" ==> Dude seems to remember every taana Kirti has given him). He indulged her when she wanted to talk and vent. Gave her a ray of hope when her spirits were down and just stayed around offering her his soothing presence.

Rimjhim already doesn't have high opinion about Kirti. It will only get worse when she finds out who her mother is. More than that, I am worried how it will affect Kirti herself when she finds out who and how her mother is!

Thank you once again for giving us so many wonderful back-to-back updates! Can't wait for Part 2 to begin 🤩

It is just unfortunate that every time Kirti has given in to what others have fed her about Nishit and ended any kind of interaction with him, that too on an impulse.

She has listened to either Tejas or people like Rimjhim or Sana, who have no connection with her even remotely.

If Shruti was her one anchor in life, Nishit could have easily been her other anchor. Imagine if she had maintained a good friendship with him after he helped her out during her college days, today she would have been more happier for two true friends in her life.

She managed to stay friends with Tejas even after knowing her "love" would never be reciprocated. His friends used to say the same things about Kirti what Rimjhim insinuated. Shruti's opinion about Nishit is same as her opinion about Tejas. The class difference issue is also common between the two. So what is it that makes Kirti react so differently with Tejas v/s Nishit. Maybe Kirti needs to ask this question to herself. Why is she so hard on Nishit? I guess she cannot stay "just friends" with him because she just can't. His indifference, nonchalance, words and silence matter a lot to her than she chooses to believe.

And I think same applies to Nishit as well. Every time he tried to come out of the friend zone, Kirti stepped back, giving him the impression she is not interested. He could also have some insecurities. Clammy hands, for instance. So that could have drove him back into his shell. I have a feeling he was planning to tell her about his feelings on the night of Diwali party. The fireworks were probably his idea too. He must have lost it when he saw Kirti looking at them with Tejas' hand draped around her.

Very valid points to think over Gauri.

I was actually surprised when during college she cut him off just because Tejas said he is dating other girls.

Yes, Nishit might have feelings for her, but he has never expressed it explicitly. (Or maybe he does not )

Why does Kirti always think that he wants to go the romantic route with her and not just wants to be friends with her?

Maybe in college, he just wanted to be her friend. So he has GFs. That should not stop him from wanting to have just friends.

Kirti gets influenced more by others than she even realises it.

Be it Shruti, or Tejas, or her grandmother, and even the society.
