There is Urmi,there is Rim jhim, Hardiik, Mithila,(assuming Sana, Tejas have made a exit) ...nobody wants these two to even be friends forget about dating. 😏

Nishit is mature,level headed,reliable-kudos to him how he handled Biplab panic attack. He had a doctor evaluate it and then did not rush or lecture him. He stood by him ,helped him ease out of it and made him positively focus on the future. He even accepted that he had lost control Diwali night. A step in the right direction 😘

I rejoiced that Kirti finally met Diana and Karen oops reformed Jane. Finally an evening of companionship but there is Mithila.(she is not his gf 😊) and Rimjhim .

This was a Nishit chapter. It is hard not to like him or wish that he gets his happily ever after 😘

Ps. This chapter could have been called "first dinner date with fishes"...but then there is Rimjhim 😏

Don't you think in a way Kirti and Nishit are similar, both are very fast in giving credence to what others tell them about the other. And somewhere both have been played by those who they consider as friends or family. How did Hardiik just happen to be there watching all this drama? Has he been keeping an eye on Kirti? And why does Urmi not want Kirti to marry Mayank but is willing to push Hardiik her way?

Chapter 50

It was simply heartbreaking to see Kirti run from pillar to post for her Dadi. With Shruti, her only support far away, she was so helpless. For her Dadi, she swallowed her pride and reached out to every single person who she had vowed never to see again. Out of which, Nishit was the only one who actually helped. Sana could have helped, but didn't; and Tejas, when he did show up eventually, it felt like it would have been better if he hadn't.

The accidental meetup at the Chinese eatery came as a surprise. Kirti flaunted her engagement & ring. Was it her way of saying she isn't an easy target anymore, or was it to make him jealous? Nishit's response was convoluted and may have hurt her, but if she had paid attention to his eyes, they would have told her a different story.

The umbrella he left behind, is it the one I think it is?

No he left his own umbrella ...so she does not get wet in rain . Multicolored one he is holding on 😋

I felt it was like he finally returned her umbrella back, which he was holding on to for so long 😁

Chapter 51

Kirti is willing to do anything for her Dadi; and it included harebrained plans like getting married to Mayank, just so her Dadi can die in peace. She was a woman possessed, yes. Not sure how the marriage thing ended. Did Nishit agree to marry? Did Dadi slipping into coma didn't require the plan to be operationalized? Or did Urmi/Ahilya use her charms and/or her resources to ensure it doesn't happen?

Urmi/Ahilya was the biggest surprise. Shock, rather! She knows Kirti is her daughter, yet her only concern at the moment is to ensure Nishit doesn't marry her. One would think the woman must have some humane side to her. If not guilt, she could atleast have some pity for her kids who are a mess at the moment. Hardiik has been spying them from last night. Was he spying Nishit (on Urmi's behest) or Kirti?

Chapter 48 c:

Kirti met Nishit again 4 years after school.

Nishit was actually nice to her, helped her with notes, enquired about her exams and behaved as a good friend.

Nishit, I guess wanted to take one step forward in their friendship and Tejas poisoned Kirti's mind and she backed out from her date with him.

I wonder if Tejas had gone home and told something bad about Kirti to Nishit too. As later Nishit practically ignored her and she did too.

Now I understand why Nishit even said those words to her the next day after Diwali about Kirti has always judged him unfairly.

Nishit did help Kirti but the way she behaved later not so good.

Chapter 49:

Kirti proposed a fake engagement to Mayank to get away from her grandmother's constant pestering about her marriage.

And she only told Shruti about this pretend engagement. Did Shruti still harbor feelings for Mayank?

Biplab is right, Kirti is really impulsive and probably has always been and is even now. Now I feel, if some of her impulsive reactions had toned down, few of the extreme unfortunate situations in her life could have been avoided.

What Biplab said was true. Kirti should stop taking actions for others sake and should certainly not take impulsive decisions after one uncomfortable situation or fact getting thrown at her. This nature of hers has certainly not helped her in the past and is not helping her even now.

Biplab seems to be the more reasonable one now.

For instance he only muted Prasanna's number on his phone, but Kirti went ahead and blocked most of her school mates on her phone.

Chapter 50:

Never thought two roads diverged would mean Kirti and Shruti.

So now Kirti and Mayank are continuing their pretend engagement.

Kirti has never been good at pretense if I remember correctly. So it felt natural for her to feel out of place posing as Mayank' fiancé in the party.

Never imagined Kirti and Nishit will meet again like this, on a rainy evening, at a Chinese eatery.

Why did Kirti blurt out about her engagement to Nishit so suddenly and was his reply to her about the ring or the kiss to rile her up? Did he want to see if she would imagine herself with him if he spoke about a imaginary situation like this?

But in the end, I really like the way he left behind the umbrella for her to use.

It is also a fact that he has always been considerate and helpful towards her, how much ever Kirti ignores it.

It must have been terrible for Kirti and Biplab to see their grandmother diagnosed with a dangerous illness and her health suddenly deteriorate

so suddenly.

Did not expect any help from Sana and I guess she was true to her nature in not helping out Kirti when Kirti called.

Wonder why Tejas did not pick her call or help her. Did Sana ask him not to help?

Nishit, like every time, helped her immediately. But always reacting on an impulse and negatively towards anything Nishit says or does, not good.
