That makes me think ,he ran with those scary big red eyes, bulging out with anger and frustration with sindoor in his hand and ended up filling Anokhi's maang just to prove the point
He could have done that in his usual shaking style may be a little more aggressively...he might have ended up with Anokhi's arm separated from her body but thats his style of making her listen to him.
Using sindoor is way too much just for the assurance and assurance only comes after marriage thats how i think.
