I have decided to stop applying logic and make sense of overall storyline and enjoy one episode at a time. I did enjoy the episode much more today.
Shaakhi are still magic on screen. Can't believe how much they are in love with each other and how heartless everyone around them is. Shaurya only has Anokhi in his mind and eyes. His shaky steps towards her and her teary eyes broke my heart.
If only Anokhi knew that Shaurya is also only apne ke saath. He is even more lonely than she is. She has Astha, Ahir and Babli, he truly has no one who understands him or has his true interest at heart.
Both families understand how much the couple love each other but both families have decided to keep the couple apart for their own good. Bando se apni problem to solve hoti nahi hai, aur Shaakhi ke mamle ko solve karne chale hai. I still don't understand how these folks intend to keep two adults with rights and wishes apart indefinitely. I am also surprised that Shaurya has not connected the dots yet and realized his family is the one that is interfering. I would expect that he would start hating Shagun and anyone else party to this mess with a vengeance but he has been very decent and just ignores. All his aggression seems to be reserved for Anokhi.
Ahir is officially the most useless cop, he seems to be wanting to do dance on the chance. I can't believe the way he let Vineet escape and the chase was insane. He could not catch a tied up civilian running with a limp. Babli does not want her baby sister anywhere near the toxic Sab family. While I know she is well meaning, no one can control the destiny and fate.
Astha and Anokhi both showed their backbone when they walked away after drawing a line from Sab family. Astha refused to overstay her welcome even to take care of Shaurya and Anokhi held onto her decision to set Shaurya free.
I do think that Shagun is here for revenge and money. It is hard to understand who is the puppet and who is the puppeteer between her and BM. If I had my guess I would say Shagun is playing BM.
Now for Precap-
BM has sunk to a new low. How is this family digesting this emotional atyachar or will digest it when they find out? Shaurya needs to understand that he might not have a choice- his family has forced his hand where he has to pick between his family/BM and Anokhi. The more he delays the choice, the more he tortures Anokhi. I would not fault him if he picked BM but then he has to let Anokhi go completely. I like his new look but he seemed strangely much more aggressive.
I did not like the whole sindoor filling sequence in precap but I am willing to cut Shaurya some slack depending on whether forced engagement comes first or the sindoor sequence. If sindoor sequence comes first, I will find it very hard to forgive Shaurya. The editing seemed choppy and I am not sure why Shaurya was so aggressive. I understand his desperation and frustration but take it out on the people who deserve it instead of Anokhi.
Is it just me or did anyone else find the whole sindoor thing a part of regressive soch. Sindoor can signify the color of love and bonds between heart but the way Shaurya went about it made me think that he used it as a tool to chain Anokhi to him even if she was unwilling. What gives a guy right to expect that a pinch of red color can take away someone's right to choose and tie their lives together. I am hoping that Sindoor sequence is more symbolic and was used to depict the intention of Shaurya in the show, It is neither legally binding not are there any witnesses. I cannot see Anokhi relenting though. The question was never if Shaurya's love was true, the question was always if Shaurya can publicly claim Anokhi and if they have a future together given vast differences in soch, class and expectations. The question was always if Shaurya would choose Anokhi over his family and if Anokhi can live with his choice. I don't think anything has changed there. Shaurya is still unable to claim her publicly and is putting her through potential humiliation in future.
