Ghanta ya 2 Ghanta... Udit can not give much expressions in songs :p... Pehla nasha is lyrically cool but vocals are udit usual self... Same smiley voice .. That is the style udit sang over and over again and is popular for... Udit can not change his voice according to the song.... But Ab mujhe raat din had a different sensualness soothingness with extreme expressions in voice of helplessness in love.... And regarding popularity.. So pehla nasha the song is pictureized on amir khan being a part of a memorable film give it edge on popularity.... Regarding Sonu' dewana album is highest selling solo album.... and the entire credit to the song popularity owe to sonu himself because without any big star or big face that song was a rage and memorable upto now.... That song didn't needed bollywood input :p.... UDIT didn't created popularity for pehla nasha, it's Amir khan.... And it's the verdict of Amir khan as he said way back in 2010 that its actor face who create the popularity for a hit song

It is one of his most popular songs and for that matter non filmy songs with sonu signature style.. His indipop songs were rage and its not about being popular or not its being better and yeah this is 10 times more romantic than what pehla nasha has to offer, this song never needed amir or shahrukh to promote it to that level , its already there :)
