I think he flopped because he was Amitabh’s son and got projects because of nepotism.

Abhishek was not able to come out from his dad's shadow, tried to imitate his dad style, hence audience rejected and did not want to see Amitabh 2.0.

He has no style of his own, did not learn how to dance or make himself look different from his dad.

harsh truth..he would not have made it to auditions the way he was in 00s..average looker..bad dancer..wooden..and he had leading roles in 3 back to back movies in 2000 itself..one with an established A lister back then..then after consecutive 12-13 flops straight from beg to 2004..he still had movies to 'prove himself' ..enough said..and of course he never had to worry to pack bags and find something else..imagine the career security for life despite being so mediocre..if that is not perks of nepotism..God knows what is

Same can be said for any nepo kid. Hrithik and Ranbir have had back to back flops as well. If not for their backing, they would have disappeared from the map.

No comparison in any way with Hrithik and Ranbir . They are much better than Abhishek in every sphere.
