Also, Abhishek is fairly successful and isn't a failure. Yes, he did not become an Amitabh Bachchan, but he is not a Fardeen Khan/Uday Chopra/Tusshar Kapoor either.
He proved that he could act well in various roles - he aces serious genres like in Guru, Sarkar, Yuva, etc. and he rocks comedy also - Dostana, Happy new year. He does well with romance too - Bunty aur babli, Mannmarziyaan etc.
He did get a handful of hits too.
What he couldn't become was a superstar. But that isn't the only metric of success. He is a star in his own right, owns successful hockey and football f ranchises, won a National award for producing some great films.
Above all, he is a great son/husband/father and a decent human being.
Agar ye success nahi hai toh kya hai? Not every scientist can become Albert Einstein, which is fine, but that doesn't mean that the other scientists are a failure.
I like his personality.. he is fun in interviews.
I like Harshad, but I’m biased towards Barun.
He has his flaws too, he isn't perfect. But then him turning out like this when his mother and sister are major snobs is still a huge accomplishment. 😆

No one is perfect but he seems like a genuine person, and I really like how he supports his wife. Just an observation.

Abhishek was not able to come out from his dad's shadow, tried to imitate his dad style, hence audience rejected and did not want to see Amitabh 2.0.
He has no style of his own, did not learn how to dance or make himself look different from his dad.
He can't make himself look different from his father. He has his genes and so looks like that.
