See Kallu becoming DM will be a separate track like the whole Anu becoming the lawyer/CEO of Nal Emporium. I feel Kalyani was never interested in studies or career with Pillu and her Aai near. Only reason Kallu was able to cracking her IAS exam and do well in college is because for 5 years, she was away from Pillu and Aai.
Like Malhar encouraged before to study, I feel he'll have to encourage again for her to become DM. If pregnant, I think he'll say something like what example will you set for our future beti if you show that women can't manage being mothers and having careers. Something like that only will motive Kalyani cause she's so unmotivated.
