Pakhi's character has many layers and she has to show us all of that. The reason why people find her delusional is because sometimes she is supposed to show herself as that too.
She is an evil character but has got some good values which comes out a few times. Vamps are negative in all ways, Pakhi can get concerned a few times. She feels sorry for people sometimes, like though she helped Kaku in separating Devi and Pulkit, somewhere she wanted Devi's happiness too. But when that intention got polluted with her thoughts of defeating Sai, her actual true good intentions got defeated.
Her emotions for Virat which she thinks is love is a mixed emotion which constitutes of mainly obsession, to attain him or win him, to own him, also with a little care, concern and understanding. Since the obsession is overpowering all the other real emotions, those emotions means nothing in reality even though she has care for him. What's the use in caring for a person when the person's wishes or wants are ignored, neglected or taken for granted? She thinks she knows what he wants or what is good for him which is she herself and hence even his want for Sai is overlooked by her.
Her character is a manipulative character who can use people the way she wants and whenever she wants, like Karishma or Kaku.
She is a person who thinks has an upbringing where raising voice against an elder is wrong, fighting or arguing with elders are wrong, but in reality she applies this to only elders who is favorable or who supports her at the moment. It ultimately comes to obssession for Virat. That makes her behave disrespectfully to Ashwini. She should act like a person with split personality.
There can be soft natured people who have no good intentions, she is like that. She has become a slow poison.
The thing is that if Sai had not come between her and Virat, she might not have been like this with Sai. If Ashwini was not showing her place, she wouldn't be like that with Ashwini. If Virat doesn't love Sai and stuck to the promise he had given to her, she wouldn't be like who she is today. That is why everytime when people point out whatever she does, she acts shocked, she is not a person who would do it but is actually doing it. Her character should at this point show that she is shocked to know that they think about her like that but she also doesn't care or doesn't believe that she is bad or her actions are bad and she continues to do whatever she does without any guilt. To her, her emotions for Virat are pure, it is love and she is doing everything only because she loves him even if Virat understands her or not.
Aishwarya, as you have said, I have liked a few scenes of hers, she did a pretty decent job. Even now, she is okay in a few scenes but the question is if she is emoting whatever I have mentioned above.
I have been able to gather whatever I have described about her character not just through her acting, through the way the story has progressed, through her dialogues, through her interaction with other characters too. Would leave it to all of you to judge her acting abilities. I usually don't have too high expectations with any actor/actresses. Will watch the show if I like the story and acting, if not, I don't watch it at all. Pakhi's role, though is a significant one in this show, I can manage to watch the show even if I am unhappy with her acting skills at many places. The same way, to be honest and frank, even if Ayesha needs improvement in her acting skills, I am happy to watch because she has improved a lot from the beginning of the show, I love her as Sai, love her as the lead for Virat, for Sairat's chemistry.
Neil, as we all know is a really good actor, even if I find something like an overacting, they can be neglected compared to his overall performance which is usually very good. He has been in this industry for years and has always been working on his skills. A friend of mine recently shared an old interview of his and Ayesha, in which Neil had said that he had used the lockdown period before the show started to work on Virat's character. It seems he had signed up for the show first and so had a lot of time until the show actually started.
So when an actor like him had to work on the character, I believe Ayesha was signed up for this role, just before the show started, so her working will be only in the shoot. Not many ofcourse get time before show starts but since she is a beginner, I think we can give it to her that she has really tried to give her best especially with her busy schedule.
I don't want to think Ayesha playing Pakhi's role 🙈.
Ofcourse every actor has to play any role given, so if Ayesha has to play some negative role in the future, she will work on that and will try to give her best.
Hardwork, determination, efforts put are all very important and I believe Ayesha is currently doing all of these.
Ayesha's screen space is more, we have all seen that she hardly used to pose in bts pics too due to her busy schedule. Though she is not getting enough time to practice, being a newcomer, even though this is the first show she is playing a role of a female lead, I think Ayesha is doing a decent job, trying hard, learning some skilss from Neil too. So I guess, with time and experience, she will learn a lot more and will give her best in future as antagonist too.
Haven't checked what I have written, excuse me for spelling mistakes or grammatical mistakes 🙈.
