Preity Zinta shifting loyalties?
We all know that Preity Zinta and Shahrukh Khan will be crossing swords during IPL.
Preity sponsors Kings XI Punjab (the Mohali team) along with industrialist boyfriend Ness Wadia and Shahrukh Khan the Kolkata Knight Riders along with Juhi Chawla and her hubby Jai Mehta. But it seems like Preity is dragging cricket rivalry into her personal life too. And she slowly may be shifting loyalties away from SRK. What's more she is turning it towards the Bachchan clan.
It surprised many when, Preity took the decision to drop out of Shahrukh Khan's tour Temptations. She eventually set off the rumours when in place of Temptations she announced she will be performing during the Unforgettables Tour- the official world tour of the Bachchans. This was what Preity had to say about it, "It's indeed an honour to be a part of a show of such a great scale and caliber and to be onstage with the Bachchans and others. It is always a delight to reach out to our fans and be a part of the tour, I intend on doing just that."
Preity had taken part in the 2004 tour of Temptations along with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee.
She worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the Rituparno Ghosh movie The Last Lear. That is when the friendship between the two of them grew. There have been numerous reports of a cold war between Amitabh and SRK. The rumour mills started working overtime when Shahrukh did the Don remake. He also came in to fill Amitabh's shoes in Kaun Banega Crorepati. Then there were also stories of the two delaying Ravi Chopra's Bhoothnath since they did now want to come face to face.
