Mother's day: member topic

What did you all do for your mothers for mother's day? Specially for those living with their mothers..

Asking for ideas, because here, mother's day is tomorrow 😆

For mother's day I gave her a remote massage.

I cooked and relieved her off her duties of the day. I actually do this quite often because she doesn't enjoy making dinner so I do that. She took the day and pampered herself.

I got 2nd dose so I was slow day.

Me, mom, dad, sister, brother in law, 2 nieces, wife and the baby cut a cake.

I also got my wife a practical gift. Headphones 🎧

My brother & I got told off because we both forgot to wish her 🥴. I slept in throughout the day and my brother was preoccupied with his games. My brother tried to smoothly get away from her wrath by buttering her up with the “everyday is mother’s day, I always tell you that I love you” bullshit dialogues. Pretty much stole my lines and left me with nothing to say. I tried to use the same dialogues but apparently it has a ‘use-only-once’ policy and an expiry date 🙂.

So I’m currently still copping silent treatment from my mum and had some Baghban dialogues thrown at me - how she doesn’t need kids like me and that I’ll throw her into a retirement home etc. 😆

Oh I too had that attack cuz I was late by a few hours 😂 . Didn't wish her at midnight 🤣🤣

My attack has lasted 24 hours. I’ve cleaned the house and ate whatever she cooked without complaining. The woman wants me to crawl at this point of grovelling 😆

I don’t think she’ll give in until I’ve completed a years worth of chores in two days. 😆
