I have a theory regarding Athu as well. So I feel he came back 6 years later cause for past 6 years he assumed that Kalyani and Moksh were dead. So Malhar is miserable and his revenge is complete. He was in a coma and "died" after the whole Trilok mess, so last he heard Kalyani and Moksh were dead and Malhar was demoted and in deep depression. So no point of him coming back.

But 6 years later, he discovers that Kalyani and Moksh are alive when he comes to inform Malhar's family that he's on a mission. That's why he came back with this Moksh custody drama. So question is how did Athu change is face and figure out the Malhar mission.

And now, it seems that Athu is on the run after killing Sampu. And he wanted to blackmail Kalyani with dead body and was waiting for Kalyani to get trapped in the murder and lose custody of Moksh, so maybe he can kidnap from orphanage or something. But I feel custody issue will end with this track. Cause after Kalyani is proven innocent, adoption will be successful and KalMa will be offical parents of Moksh.

Since Varun is done role of Athu Bapat, I feel its possible that he can some back with a new face aka new actor. If plastic surgery is done once, it can be done again and many weren't that aftagcer to Varun anyway. Like Nal Emporium is still in Athu's name, so its a way for him to come back. So I feel Athu will make Moksh insecure that KalMa are not his bio parents and they are having their own child.

Agree with you. I think there is an opening for Atharv to come back and create insecurities in Moksh's mind.
