Finally, I got to watch the episode properly without having to rush for morning chores.
Apart from the awesomeness of Gaumbi and his wonderful Gyaan, Krishâs one liners and that HOT competition of âsee whoâs looking betterâ vibe from Raavi and Shiva, I really found the bon-fire a phuss one.
Dance wasnât required at all! It didnât make sense, cute to watch nonetheless. It seemed very choreographed and gimmicky. Itâs a family thing, not a frigging Sangeet!
Nonetheless, a very key point which I have noticed in the post marriage episodes is that every time Raavi disses Shiva or lashes at him, he just gets super annoyed with Dev. Today, also, he threw murderous glances at Dev when Raavi didnât pay him attention enough.
I happened to watch the episodes that I had missed in detail and realised how giddy headed Raavi was with her dream man Dev. In fact, when the Baraat came in, she was extremely exhilarating and enthusiastic. She just couldnât stop beating the dhol and dancing. I swear, no matter how good were Dhara and familyâs intentions, I felt like really angry at their shenanigans because of which Raavi has been reduced to the shadow of the gleeful girl she once happened to be. They should have NEVER hidden the truth. I hate this aspect of the family.
The only thing that keeps Raavi breathing and just a split seconds away from falling apart is her constant fight with Shiva which hasnât changed even a bit.
All I can see her is pouty all the time. I respect Dhara and Gaumbi a lot, especially Gaumbi in his way of handling Rishita. No wonder, Rishita feels comfortable with a childlike enthusiasm around Gaumbi when she showed her the manicured nail paint and colour.
Gaumbi handles people better because he refrains from childlike mollycoddling like Dhara.
Now coming back to my biggest pet peeve. As much as I would Shivi to happen quickly, I would really like Raaviâs confrontation of her thwarted dreams and closure as well.
She hasnât been cathartic at all. All Dhara does is to try to make Raavi see Shiva in a new light. Itâs like coaxing your kid who was howling to buy a cozy panda to choose an Ironman instead.
There can be no ânew beginningâ without closure. There can never be any healing without âcatharsisâ. You cannot make a girl who breathed one name for 10 years to suddenly grow an attraction by making a man good-looking. They arenât puppets or toys.
I am not angry at Dhara or the family but I wish they had the maturity to help them better rather than making them as dressed up dolls and tell them -â see you both make a good Jodiâ.
Suman, despite all her anger, seemed to be more mature post the wedding when she advised Shiva to take care of her, never let tears flow from her eyes. Perhaps one of the best advices a person could give him at that time, making him feel responsible for Raavi.
What I see most of time are dialogues like âyou need to rise up to the eyes of the most beautiful woman of Somnath.â
Dhara, girl, you are causing more damage you can ever imagine:
1. By creating a self-pity party for Raavi reiterating her condescension for Shiva
2. Creating a stupid insecurity in an already rattled mind of Shiva who not only understands the contempt of Raavi but also has seen his so-called wife being smitten by his own brother for a decade. He has seen her giddy headed in love.
Do these people really think, they are helping? They are just trying to whitewash a seepage in the house. This entire thing shall brew over time and burst into a chaos later.
SIGH!

She looks like yaya (urusaya sperbund) here. If anyone watches Thai lakorns, they will see the similarity. đ

Dhara in white saree. Do you think maybe Rishita gets scared of her? And she could probably be the shadow in the precap with Shiva. Maybe she unknowingly plays into the scary prank and Rishita gets enough of all of them and leaves?
Even I think Dhara unknowingly will help Shiva-Krish in scaring rishitađ€Łđ€Ł

SIGH!
Point!!!
Raavi the happy go lucky girl with a ever smiling face and a sunny attitude has been reduced to this pouting and complaining girl with no purpose in life.
This is completely Pandya family's doing. She might have been heart broken but not have lost herself completely like this if they had just told her the truth about Dev and Risitha.
Even Shiva is completely lost. Both of them see no way forward.
It's like they are just passing the days, fulfilling what ever the family wants of them. And this joint family set up is not helping them at this point. Had they been alone facing everyday situations then they will be able to navigate through life, reach some understanding of each other's situations and form some bond. Instead of 'I am doing this because Bhabhi said so' it will be by their own choice.
And you are so right about Raavi not confronting her past and moving forward. In fact both of them need to talk it out to see how they feel about the past incidents, how it affects them now that their relationship has changed. Dev's name should come up in their conversation atleast once.
Without meaningful conversation and confronting the past there will be no progress in their relationship. Hope we get to see something like that.
