==================================
Backdrop - it had been 2 months since Sakshi had landed in PurVir's life on the day when they were getting remarried. None of them had expected their D day to have such a tragic closure. Their marriage was left incomplete as sakshi fainted after her reunion with Vir and he carried her back to the mansion leaving a broken, weeping bride behind.
~| Part - 1 |~
It was unfortunate for both of them, for Vir he was facing his past just when he had resolved to move ahead with his bawri and for Purvi, her whole world had come crashing.
Purvi was named a servant by Mama Sarkar and thus she used to live not in her usual luxurious room but in a nominal one (though better than rest of the servants as Vir dint allow her to live in such derogatory condition), while Vir and S stayed in their bedroom, together. However, Vir used to sleep either on the couch or on floor while sakshi slept on the bed. When sakshi questioned him about this, he replied that he has back ache and can't sleep on bed as it gets worse, moreover she is not well so it's better to maintain some distance for now. Although, neither of them was true. Vir himself was baffled on the thought that why couldn't he feel any spark for her like he used to 5 years ago. There wasn't a single night when he was able to sleep peacefully in his bedroom with the women he loved insanely at some point of time. He found it bizarre but the more he questioned himself the more confused and lost he got. So, he left it upon his destiny to decide whom he belongs to.... Sakshi or Purvi !!
PurVir were helpless. They couldn't openly accept their relation in front of sakshi for they feared that the shock might deteriorate her mental health. However, Purvi didnt stop filling her hairline with sindoor because she was still suhaagan of Vir and not doing so was considered a bad omen in their tradition. Also, this small action of hers relieved her that she still belonged to him, and he is still hers (although not wholly). Everytime she saw her Mukhi ji with Sakshi, thousands of thunder jolts striked her heart. But she was obliged to gulp her tears silently. 😭
Juhi and Manas were still the closest to their Haathi. The love they hold for each other is pure and divine. As per Sakshi's medical conditions, she was asked to take rest and do the least household chores. Hence, it was Purvi who stiil took care of everyone and the Haweli. One fine morning, she goes to the kids' room to get them ready for their school. As usual, she finds the little munchkins sleeping peacefully. Her lips curve into a smile on seeing the beautiful angels in the lap of sleep. She slowly and gracefully walk towards their beds and calls out lovingly - "Genda, Khargosh... chalo jaldi se uth jao aur school ke tayr ho..." Juhi wakes up but decides to peddle her beloved Haathi a little. She turns her head inside the blanket and pretends that she is sleeping. Purvi understands her mischief, after all she is her mother (by heart if not by blood). She goes and sits on her side - "arree.. hume to lagta hai ki aj humare dost uthege hi nhi.. humne to kitna tasty tasty pasta banaya tha unke lie. Ab agar wo nhi uthege to humari mehnat to kharab ho jaygi naaa..." She says in a pretentious sad voice.
Pasta is JUhi's favourite so she instantly jumps with happiness on hearing its name. "paassstaaaa!! Wow haathi !!!!" she hugs Purvi. "tum naa world ki best haathi ho" she plants a kiss on her cheek. Purvi smiles that her tactic worked on her naughty daughter. But Manas was still asleep. She gets worried and goes to check on him. As soon as she touches his forehead her eyes widen in shock. "Manas...!! juhi ise to bhot tez bukhaar hai" she exclaimed. Purvi's concern for her son was evident in her crystal clear eyes. She immediately rushes towards her phone and calls a doctor.
*
The doctor arrived soon. By now everyone in the house had gathered in kids' room. Sakshi is sitting beside Manas who is still sleeping. She is caressing his forehead but has no crinkles on her face. Purvi is standing at one corner, her eyes are teary. Doctor checks his temperature and finds it to be 104 degrees.
D - "ise to bhot tez bukhar hai. Ap jaldi se iske sur par thande paani ki patti rakhiye.. warna it might result in brain fever. "
Sakshi orders Preeti to do as told whereas Purvi rushes to the kitchen to get the cold water. Vir is disturbed to see Sakshi's behaviour.
V (in mind) - yo Sakshi ne key ho gaya hai ? Pehle to agar bachhan ne jara si bhi takleef howe thi to ye chain se saans bhi na leti thi unke thik hone tak... aur ib iske maathe par shikan tak naa hai.. 5 saal me ek insaan kitna bhi badal jawe.. par ik maa ka uske balak ke lie sneh kade kam na hota....!!
Vir is perplexed about the inferences his brain was making out of Sakshi's changed attitude. Although this wasn't the 1st time in 2 months that he was witnessing a drastic change in her behaviour, but today's actions were a major jolt. He wasn't doubting his 1st love, but he was certainly skeptical about the woman standing in front of him.
Just then Purvi enters with a tray (containing a bowl and a piece of cloth) in her hand. Vir has always admired her sanity, serenity and altruism. The way she loved his children and obviously him is unparalleled, he thinks. She is plainly dressed but her beauty still captivates him, so much that he is unable to move his eyes from her.
Vir is disturbed by Doctor's voice - Inke symptoms dekh ke mujhe lagta hai ki inhe Dengue ho gya hai. fir bhi confirm karne ke lie mai blood test karwa luga.
vir - doctor saab koi chinta ki baat to naa hai? yo jaldi thik ho jaawega naa ?
D - haa haa mukhi ji.. darrne jaisa to kuch nhi hai pr precautions kaafi lene padege apko kyoki ye bimari kaafi contagious hoti hai.
Pur - kya precautions?? Ap jo bhi batayge hm sab krege bas humara beta... (she stops in between) Manas jaldi thik ho jaye
D - apko saaf safai ka bhot dhyan dena hoga. TIme par dawa aur khana. Aur haa sabse zaruri.. jo bhi inka khayal rakhe use bhot sawdhani baratni hogi.!
PurVir nodded in a yes. Their anxiety and unrest could be easily seen in their eyes. However, on hearing that the disease might effect anyone coming in contact, Sakshi immediately gets up from Manas' side. Vir's eyebrows curl on seeing her reaction, but he doesnot says anything (silence is the best weapon sometimes).
Manas regains some of his consciousness and his lips part to utter something. Purvi smiles to see him opening eyes. Vir is relieved that the injection worked so quickly. Much to everyone's surprise, Manas stretches out his hand towards P and calls out 'HAATHI' and not "sakshi maa'. Purvi surpasses everyone standing in between and goes to sit beside Manas. She hugs him and keeps his head on her lap. Vir is joyous to see his son with his 'YASHODA MAA'. His eyes then fall on Sakshi who is not affected by the fact that the 1st person Manas wants to be with isn't she (his birth-giving mother) but Purvi.
Sakshi - Purvi, tum hi Manas ke paas rho uski dekhbhal ke lie... (she says with a forced smile)
Purvi - par ap uski maa hai.. humse jyada use apki zarurat hai !
S - nhi purvi.. dekha nhi tumne usne mujhe nhi tumhe sabse pehle awaaz di. Agar wo tumhare sath rehke khush hai to mujhe koi problem nhi hai isme.
Purvi nods happily, she herself wanted to be with Manas but her obligations made her to give this right to Sakshi. Now that she has denied, she can take care of him with no more constraints.
Vir was baffled. The Sakshi he knew would have never left her ill kid under someone else's care, no matter what the reason is. His mind went numb. Was she the same woman he loved so deeply? or has she underwent an absolute transition? These questions were now popping in his eyes and he was determined to find answers to all of them at any cost. For the moment, he silently escorts everyone out of the room, leaving only Purvi behind.
While his mind was sinking in the bog of his erupting sensible doubts, his heart could only admire Purvi more, fall for her more. His eyes fall on her once again when he is taking an exit from the room and in that one instance he acknowledged his prettiest reality - his bawri was the only one whom he could ever love; she is the one who completes him in all senses and only she has the right to rule the entire territory of his heart like a MUKHIYAIN.
