Exactly, there’s a level of comfort between the two actors so the scene came out as aesthetic, as much as he was shirtless and in extreme proximity with her, it was not cringy. I didn’t see it as romantic coz romance is between two conscious people. I saw it as a deeply moving scene, where he was so vulnerable, any she too was somehow vulnerable, I don’t know why, but she was. I think she’s never been in close proximity with another man. It was nicely shot, and Sai, with eyes closed, acted really well, you’d almost think he was really unconscious.
Correct, it wasn't romance but a moment of tenderness and as you said vulnerability. Pallavi's inner emotions were clearly shown on her face, with no one around she didn't need to hide anything. When he woke up, seeing them both in that state made him even more self-conscious than she was. He is so used to having this veneer on him that being in that situation, low and weak, especially in front of someone he doesn't know very well, made him feel exposed. This is a guy who bashes tires (and people) for a living, often shirtless. Pallavi has already seen him like that before. However, Raghav feeling uncomfortable being shirtless at that moment was apt, because it was as if his shield was missing. He's always been a power dresser and his clothes create the aura as well as barrier that he wants around people. Being in close proximity with Pallavi, a person who always unnerves him already, as well as seeing her gentle side treat him with so much care undid something in him. I honestly believe he has never been the same since that incident; it was a turning point in their dynamic.
Pallavi, for her part, was doing this with a man she didn't even know well, supposedly her enemy, and was uncomfortable about the tenderness she felt towards him at that moment. She was hesitant at first but then decided to put that aside and focus on treating him. The way she gently held his head and then him, was just pure Pallavi, unmasked, uninhibited. When she saw the blood on his shoulder, something made me feel she had seen that before (Mandaar?) and it brought back bad memories, but she kept going. She didn't hesitate to wipe his forehead or feel conscious that she was so close to him. The best part is that she never made fun of his vulnerability in that scene or later. To her, in that moment Raghav was the most human she had ever seen him, a soft side she had never expected or thought possible.
It really is one of my most favorite scenes on the show because we get to see both of them without their facade, both of them soft, gentle, caring, and a little bit shy.
