Alok Nath has traveled a long way from Lahore to Delhi to Mumbai in search of his ambition to become an actor, contrary to the wishes of his doctor father. During his 30-year-long career, Alok Nath has worked on both the screens with distinction. But his performance as Haweliram in a TV serial 'Buniyad' shot him to extraordinary fame in every corner of the Hindi belt. He told us this during a star chat. Beginning with theater he entered into television besides acting in films like 'Astitva', and 'Piya Ka Ghar'. Significantly, he acted though in a brief role in the famous movie 'Gandhi' of Richard Attenborough. He doesn't forget that he entered into films to become a hero but didn't succeed despite very hard labor.

In fact, he had to enter into production to seek an entry into films. Along with Girija Shankar, he made 'Ab Aayega Maza' that was directed by Pankaj Parashar. The movie cost him about two million Indian rupees but he earned a lot out of it. However, he failed to fulfill his ambition of becoming a hero. So, he shifted to theater. But, 'Mashaal' starring Dilip Kumar gave Alok Nath a recognition in the industry, resulting in bagging a lot of films, especially of the Rajshri Productions. Again, luck disfavored him and he lost 'Saaransh' to Anupam Kher despite being initially assigned. In spite of ups and downs in his filmi career, Alok Nath has no regret excepting that the directors and the producers choose him for the roles of either a father or a grandfather.

Looks like Alok Nath wants to act against Preity Zinta or Sangeeta Ghosh or so 😃

But, I'm sure he can be paired against Nikki for sure 😉

Yep, the way simmi dear is packing on pounds , they both will make a good pair 😃
