I asked what can SRK really do since you implied he can do something, and for that he doesn't have to stoop down to Kangana's level. But he has to do something, if he can.

@bold, don't know about Kangana but you definitely didn't have to stoop down to this level.

The point was that, even at the lowest ebb in his career, his name and achievements precede him. He is a well-respected and beloved titan in his field so he really doesn't have to respond or lift a circle- fans and non-fans alike are responding to her devious roundabout way of maligning him with her lies. Might fly when she tries to smear someone like Tapsee but won't work with him.

The question wasn't to you, but anyway, my point is SRK can't do shit to Kangana even if he wants to. Doesn't matter if he needs it or not because even if he needed, he couldn't.

What his fans and non-fans are really doing is fulfilling Kangana's wishes by giving her attention. She didn't expect to get showered with rose petals when she made that tweet. She wanted to get a reaction and she did like always.

I see your point about negative attention also being attention- which is her goal, yes. But what do you mean "cant do shit to her"- what is he supposed to do? Put a hit on her? Get into a public slinging match with a troll like her and give her more attention? She is a paid troll and he's treating her like that, with silence, like a bug to be quashed. Every smart A-lister from SRK to Akshay has done that to her by royally ignoring her- pretty similar to what you are recommending, actually. It's the only effective strategy while dealing with an attention addict like her- something Karan and Hrithik learnt the hard way.

Meanwhile, his work speaks for him and lays bare the ridiculousness and delusion inherent in her claims.

So then that's not called doing "nothing"- that's called cutting off the oxygen supply for a narcissistic attention addict. Exactly as you suggested above. See also : Queen Elizabeth's reaction to Meghan Markle. "Doing nothing" was pretty effective.

I don't think Kangana expected SRK to respond either. It isn't the first time someone has questioned his privilege or accused him of having a fake outsider story.
