This is exactly we have been discussing about .. Sarla Aunty, Daadi, Ginny types elderly women have these tendencies .. And not just elder women, some young women too have this tendencies to diminish other women ...

Thank you for posting. I actually find it surprising how ready Asian men & women are to comment on a woman’s weight even when they are not close in any shape or form. Being myself on the chubby side I was once told by an older office colleague on someone’s birthday I should avoid having the cake as I would gain weight. Heard lot of fat shaming comments to & about women. You call it out when you can but The key point is the shaming to make women think they are wrong.

So Mayank is absolutely believable as there are some men who love to taunt their wives on being overweight & compare to others

I agree guys like mayank exist. My friend's husband does not let her wear western outfits..as she is on the heavier side.. he often humiliates her publicly for her weight..

Anyone’s weight, body type and style SHOULD NOT even be a part of discussion. It’s plain absurd. Our society has lost basic ethics. It makes me mad and sad. It’s year 2021 and people { both men and women but esp women} are subjected to such taunts. ugh!
