That newbie is banned and I don’t see any of the posts.

I was just talking about trouble_006 not using any foul language yet she is mocked in this thread.

I didn’t mean you or anyone else using foul language.

(#notetoself - recognize derailing tactics)

Vaccines aren't available in India thanks to the corruption and/or incompetence of the government.

All the deaths thus far are on their hands.

To prevent more deaths, stringent lockdown for 2-3 weeks during which vaccines need to be administered is the only way.

India cannot do that because the government hasn't approved the vaccines. If citizens do not raise their voice (not outside demonstrations), it will not happen.

Govt failed at handling COVID second wave , and still is prioritising votes over people’s lives but nahi let’s blame celebrities cause after all they’re the punching bag na . Why are we directing our anger towards anything but govt ?

If you are genuinely asking:

Just like cases exploded in other states. Har jagah kumbh mela thodi tha. Plus UP saw a massive number of migrants returning from other states(mainly Maha n Gujrat) which seems to have been a major reason behind the spread. Not to mention the lax attitude of people, almost everyone(including the authorities) was in the whole 'Corona is over' phase and super careless. Also the stupid statements against vaccines didn't help(important regional leaders saying it would cause impotency, ex-CM saying it isn't safe as its a BJP vaccine, they should wait till govt change blah blah) just check the vaccine wastage in UP.

UP CM is in his own echo chamber, uske dream world mein hi hai sufficient oxygen n med supplies. Ground level pe there's disastrous black marketing going on. UP has been importing sufficient supplies on paper but you'll hardly find anything on ground. Babudom has been its pathetic self and the CM has his head in the sand while he's in his isolated ward. His task force is a waste as of now.

Edited out quoted post for bashing

Yes I hate India so much I've been a part of every INDIAN club throughout school and college, grew up with an Indian best friend, eventually married an Indian man, and am an active member of India forums. Yes, nothing speaks hatred like this.

Basically, speaking out against Modi and bigots (who throw words like Khalistanis and jihadis toward their own Indians who are Sikh and muslims) means hating Indians 😂

I learned a new one. Ricebag😆. Although I'm not quite sure how that is a slur. I buy Tilda basmati rice which comes in blue bags.

Apparently, you're not allowed to be loyal to your country (U.S. in my case) without sacrificing your ethnic identity.

Nm that I speak a few Indian languages, eat Indian, married Indian, watch Indian movies, and even write Indian fiction for fun.

Oh, and also, I'm not allowed to speak up for my family who still live in India.

Ricebag is a slur that the IT cell uses for Christians who converted from Hinduism. The story is that the missionaries used to give poor families who were starving a rice bag as incentive to convert to Christianity. Which is when the IT cell wants to insult Christians in India they use this slur.
