I may like it more if virat said -

' jise me pyar samajata tha wo just attraction tha, pyar kya hota hai wo sai se pyar hone ke baad jaana...'

something on that line...

I guess by that dialogue he indirectly meant that it was only attraction between vahini and him and with sai he has fallen in love

Hope he could have said it clearly
