Sorry to say but lot of people talking here are not fully aware of laws and facts .In our place most of the marriages are not registered as registration is not mandatory. Imlie is legally first wife of Aditya until he denies it or file a case.Aditya marraige to Malini is invalid until Aditya first marraige is proved invalid in the court of law.

• As per law, any marriage solemnized as per tribal customs is 100% valid. Let no one from the upper class and upper caste claim that the tribal village customs and practices are in any way inferior. The law gives full respect and recognition to customary marriages as per Section 7 of Hindu Marriage Act as long as such customs are not against the constitution.
• Consent is an important part of marriage, any marriage performed agaisnt the consent of boy or girl is wrong but one of them have to file a case in the court but Aditya didn't file for it.
• Registration of marriage is still not mandatory across the country, and in places where it is mandatory, non-registration doesn’t make the marriage invalid, it only imposes a fine on the parties.
• Malini can never sue Imlie as she is not guilty at all but yes she can sue Aditya because he should have voided first marriage first and then married Malini. As Aditya did not do that his marraige to Malini will be null and void.

I watched the GHKKPM story for 2 days and could not bear to watch the repetetive single threaded story and gave up watching never stepped into that forum...how can you watch a show you dislike and also take time to write in the forum? I am watching for the only story track that truly holds my interest - the Dev Mithi Anu triangle and Imilie's parentage. I am on tenterhooks every time they show a bit more progress in that storyline. I loved the scene recently where Dev hugged both his daughters at the same time. I was in tears. Seriously.

I find Dev to be the most normal character ever. And Anu is so interesting. She calls a spade a spade. While Mithi is a little weird (for allowing her daugher to leave with a complete stranger after the gun-point illegal ceremony. He could have been a mass-murderer, or could have sold her to the mob or to a brothel. She is very lucky Aditiya was a decent man). But still Mithi is too trusting. And a little naive.

I like their story because they are all adults. I am an adult. I don't care to watch teenagers falling in love. Imlie is a teenager. He "emotional sickness", which this forum finds so endearing, makes me want to hurl. I am too cynical for this kind of childishness.

As for Aditiya, I didn't always hate him. I was very interested in the "executive reporter" in the begining of the story. He disappointed me, when he let go of the biggest story of his career, and when he started romancing the teenager. I can't watch that! I understand he fell in love with her. I say divorce Malini first, and then get frisky with Imilie. And I will skip all those scenes.

( I used to be reporter in my younger days and recognize a good story when I see one)

WOW. This is for real?? I guess it explains a lot about India. I was not aware of your laws regarding marriage.

This is why everyone so calmly accepts the "gun-point wedding" as real. 🤔

So this means anyone can force someone into marriage and unless you fight it in court, you are forever doomed! 🤢

I guess I just hate that "gun-point wedding" even more now!!!

Aditya is not a typical ITV hero .His character is grey . He is truthful to himself and can be selfish but it is one of the reason I adore his role. This show is nothing without Adhiya. In the earlier episodes his character made me curse him and despise him but his raw essence in the character is was made me love this show. It has been years since I have been drawn to a Hindi serial this one is one of a kind . In Imlie there is no sugar coating it is as raw as it gets. I’m in this for a bumpy ride. PS I still want Aditya to suffer more 😁.

You are wrong, Malini's gross character is shown as someone who is a good person. She is a nuisance.

Sach bataya tha Adi ne,ab Malini dhadam k gir gayi toh isme kya Adi ki galti hai aur fir upar se doctor advised Adi ko ki usko jyadatar stress na de otherwise uski life khatre mein aajayegi. Itna hi Adi farebi hai,toh jaldi se Malini divorce le aur chalte bane uss ghar se instead of having obsession on Adi to get him at any cost by hook or by Crook.

Red- ITV creativity is far away from real life issliye toh we just enjoy the show for entertainment.

Green- Then You have a problem with every ITV shows as they have been following the gun point marriage/ forced marriage . Are you watching ITV show for the first time or what where you don't seem to understand how ITV shows works?
