I don't think secret marriage was used as solution for insecurity in OG. It was to provide recourse against familial pressure and manipulation. For example, If I understood storyline in OG correctly, Shagun equivalent complaints in police that ML is cheating on her and something to do with money spent in Aashirwaad ceremony. The Badi Maa and Bade Pa insist that ML marry her to save family name and avoid jail. ML is insistent that he is incapable of marrying her now and if that means he has to get arrested, he will. His inability to marry Shagun equivalent comes from the fact that he is married though he does not explicitly state that. I need someone who has seen OG to weigh in.

Firstly, i didnt say this in context of OG version.

Secondly, we really need to stop comparing SAAKK with the OG at every instance. SAAKK is not like OG at all!

so I don't care what happened in OG bcz they clearly had a trashy love story.
