Remember the intial episode where BM was explaining SS when he was distraught after meeting Astha.. she told her kya tumne kuch nahi sikha apni BM se.. kisiko itna affect mat karne do..

Anokhi wale SS ko dekhke unki halat.. 🤣

Astha mam ki student usse kafi aage hai.. 😛

Actually if we go by itv experience than if leads not get married than they surely get married to others first and I have only this fear and reason that I have no issues with their wedding,I am not obsessed or want it but scared of their future in serial,I have experienced it very much thats the only reason I will want them to get married becoz channel ka kya bharosa keh de acha trp nhi aa rha lets get married shaurya to that cambridge return and make a nice promo out of it and air it both leads will cry aunties will watch,they seriously don't give damn to the choices of online audience,and aunties seriously do not very much care about leads being together they only love rona dhona toh this is one thing I have learnt from my experiences that marriage in tv serial is assurance for viewers more than story need.

I know it is good to first see dating phase but we have to always remember that its not an international series,here story change according to trps in the name of unexpected twists and those twists could be anything,channel will not think twice destroying them in name of twist.And I seriously never want to take chance of them getting married to anyone else in name of any stupid twist.

And when channel speaks ph had no say at all.

And lastly I am okay till the serial is worth watching marriage or no marriage,my fears are only that I don't want them to get ruined in name of turns and all but with this I know I can't do much so always keep myself sane ki chalo whatever comes good to watch will watch otherwise kya kar sakte hai.Still don't want to lose shakhi soon.😒

I don't think secret marriage was used as solution for insecurity in OG. It was to provide recourse against familial pressure and manipulation. For example, If I understood storyline in OG correctly, Shagun equivalent complaints in police that ML is cheating on her and something to do with money spent in Aashirwaad ceremony. The Badi Maa and Bade Pa insist that ML marry her to save family name and avoid jail. ML is insistent that he is incapable of marrying her now and if that means he has to get arrested, he will. His inability to marry Shagun equivalent comes from the fact that he is married though he does not explicitly state that. I need someone who has seen OG to weigh in.
