Yeah I watched that episode and Shaurya was dead wrong for his disgusting behavior of calling Nikki

a gold digger or using men, some nonsense like that. So all the other things SS did for Anokhi doesn't matter before and after. Like saving her life and her reputation to not be kicked out of the school twice

Babli, I'm sure knows all that cause Nikki tell her sister everything but yet she lumps him with her husband and father. 👎🏼

But I feel that babli has lived through the oppression and she herself is a product of patriarchy. She lets herself treated as inferior because she lacks courage and somewhat believes what she has been taught and what has seen since childhood that women are inferior they are born to be controlled and dominated by male.

She still believes that nikki's wedding was papaji's responsibility and he was just being a responsible father but the groom was a pervert cheat but it wasn't her papa ji's fault in her opinion. Nikki has left the house but everything will get sorted once she returns after completing her studies and may be getting married to a person of her father's choice.

Babli isn't in love with her husband she still loves someone else and that person is still waiting for her but she still doesn't have guts to run to that person even after being subjected to physical and verbal abuse because of her father and her thinking has shaped in that way only she doesn't want to fight because she has accepted herself as a burden.

And about nikki's papa ji he is away because nikki is just studying if he gets to know she has gone behind a man he ll come back and take her away and get her married to someone of his choice babli is surely scared about this although he has broken all the ties but many people believe khoon ke rishte bolne se nhi toot jate . No matter how much he says that he doesn't care, according to babli he still does care for his daughters thats how her belief system is shaped.

Well she knows that shaurya caused lot of problems during anokhi’s admission and the library incident where he called her characterless and anokhi almost left SIAC. And she knows how he acts with his own mother. So there are lot red flags.
