Badi mushkil se I have written this review, yeh itne BTS release kar rahe hai that I cannot focus on anything else!
Episode begins with Purvi asking Sudha to go to Sakshi...I FWD all of Didiji's parts...TV par dekhna padega, utna kaafi hai, cannot see it twice!
Purvi & Mama Sarkar wish each other, Vir is standing with 2 of Panchs when Yogi comes tehre to apply colour to him but Vir stops him saying Manne koi rang na lagayega! Mama Sarkar offers him bhaang but he refuses, Yogi encourages him that a few sips will not create any nasha. Vir looks at Purvi and says, 'Ib nasha aur maza, dono ka koi matlab na hai mere liye. Aur iss Holi mein to bilkul na' and walks offf. Purvi is standing there, wipes her tears and tells herself not to become weak. Vir comes to her and says, 'Ek baar phir soch lete, apne faisle aur mere parivaar ke baare mein.' Purvi says, 'Nahi sochna. Ek baar hum faisla kar lete hai phir peeche nahi hat te aapi tarah. Waadakhilaafi hamare andar nahi hai. Ab koi hume majboor nahi kar sakta molkki ban kar rehne ke liye, na aap, na aapki baatein', and she goes off.
Vir gets very angry and in that anger downs 3-4 glasses of bhaang! Mama Sarkar & Prakashi try to stop him but Vir doesn't listen. Purvi tries to take the glass from him but he shakes her hand off saying, 'Tanne ke matlab hai inn sab ta? Tu hum sabko, mere parivaar ko, ghar ko...manne, chod kar jaa rahi hai na? Toh tu der mat kar, tu nikal. Yeh sabse ke matlab tanne? Tu hoti kaun hai manne rokne wali? kaun hai tu? Hai kaun tu?' Purvi snatches his glass away & says, 'Patni hai hum aapki'
Vir scoffs and says, 'Patni? Woh patni jo manne, mere ghar-parivaar ko, mere bachcho ko chod kar ja rahi hai? Itni si baat par kaun patni apne pati ko chod kar jaati hai? Tere hisaab se toh iss poore sansar ka sabse bura aadmi toh main hi hoon. Toh iss bure ko bura rehne de. Mere saath rahegi na tu buri ho javegi. Isiliye aaj se tu apne raaste aur main apne raaste' and he walks away. Purvi is very hurt by his words, Mama Sarkar tries to console her.
Sakshi-Sudha Anjali scene
Vir comes with a dholak, beating it with full josh! Every one around is very surprised to see him. When Purvi comes near he points to her and tells everyone 'Yo meri joru hai!'..he goes to Mama Sarkar saying 'Yo meri joru hai aur isska Taya mere gale ki haddi hai, mere jaan ka dushman hai iska Taya. Isko saari ulti patti padata hai, aur isse bilkul akkal na hai, isse kuch samajh mein na aata jo manne chodke jaane ki baat kare. Isko sharam bhi na aati, jo apne pati ko chodke jaane ki baat karti hai.' Purvi is very embarrssed. The kids comes again to colour Vir but he stops them and says, 'Manne rang lagane ki koshish bhi na karna. Yo (points to Purvi) manne range lagayegi na, toh main khushi khushi lagwa loonga. Koi aur manne rang na lagayega. Sabe pehle yo rang lagayegi, toh lagwaoonga!'
Vir then starts singing and beating the dhol...song is muted...Purvi is extremely embarrssed but also has a shy smile on her face! Yogi, Mama Sarkar are all happy, but Prakashi & Anjali are very upset seeing Majnu Mukhi!
Purvi is leaving when some guy comes & applies colour on her face. Vir keeps down the dhol in anger & slap the guy asking 'Teri himmat kaise huyi Mukhiyayni ko rang lagane ki? Mere sivay Mukhiyayni ko koi rang na laga sakta'! That poor guy keeps apologizing, finally Mama Sarkar rescues him and Purvi takes Vir by the forearm & leads him away!
Inside Purvi berates him that he is drunk and should not create a scene. Vir tells her 'Aaj tak manne kabhi na chadi hai, record hai mera, chadi hogi tere buddhe Tau ko, manne aaj tak na chadi. I talk seedha, I walk seedha' and he tries to prove his point by walking but stumbles!! Purvi hoilds him and they share an eye lock. Vir tells her, 'Dekh bawari issme mera koi dosh na hai, par chod...tanne samajh na aavega ki mere saath kya ho raha hai. Par kisi ne tanne aaise chune ki koshish ki na, toh main uska mooh tod doonga!'
Purvi gets upset and asks if he is some gunda and suddenly why is he getting jealous, and if he hasn't given her any rights on him, why should she give him rights on her?
Next scene is the promo scene, Vir is sitting in the garden seeing Purvi & the kids play, feeling lost & confused about his feelings. He turns to find Sakshi smiling besides him...bechara aur bhi confuse ho jata hai...looks alternatively between Sakshi & Purvi! Sakshi tells if he is in a quandry he should close his eyes & think, he will get all his answers. Vir says no matter how much I close my eyes, I do not have answers to her questions. 'Yo kaun lage meri? Mera asli pyaar toh tu hai Sakshi phir yo bawari mere dil aur dimaag par cha ne lag gayi. Kya isi ko pyar kehve hai? Manne samajh na aa raha mera asli pyaar kaun hai - tu ya yo bawari? Aaj tak maine jab bhi aankhen band ki hai manne tera chera nazar aaya hai par pata nahi kyun aaj manne aakhen band karne se darr lag raha hai.'
Sakshi tells him not to be afraid and close his eyes. Vir refuses to close his eyes but Sakshi convinces him. When he closes his eyes, Vir sees Purvi...he opens his eyes in shock and turns to Sakshi but she has disappeared. Vir thinks till now he always used to see Sakshi when he closed his eyes how did he see Purvi today...he gets flashes of some of their moments together...he questions if he has fallen ion love with Purvi
Today's episode was really good! Vir's character has taken a giant leap, the realization of his love and the importance of Purvi in his life has hit him like a thunderbolt, leaving him feeling out of sorts. His love for Sakshi has been defining his person for so long that he doesn't know how to let go of that, and that is why he is taking so long to accept his feelings for Purvi.
The last scene with Sakshi was also good - for Vir, this was Sakshi's blessing for him to move on. And without this, he would have continued to feel guilty of betraying Sakshi by loving Purvi. This scene was the closure Vir needed and it was well done!
Talli Vir was fun to see...and tomm is gonna even better Amar nailed it as usual!!
But no doubt that scene was quite good and he got the needed closure.
