My guess is it is the plan of Mahira for sure as she challenged Preeta that in three days she will throw her out. She succeeded but didn't get Karan anyways.

My guess Mahira paid someone to kill Akshara or he himself at her behest is faking his death. Of course Shristi and Sameer will find out the truth while The Karan Loser continues to brood and whine. The truth will come out in the court drama and Mahira will get exposed for the 100th time and Karan & Co will forgive her and there will be more challenges and her falling into Karan’s arms blah blah blah...Oh, what was I saying? I put myself to sleep talking about the plot!🤣

The police do not open a murder case with out the dead body so Akshay is not faking death and that is impossible. But sorry this is Ekta serial so everything is possible. May be the police, station jail all are fake!

I agree with everything you all said Nothing will change . Mahesh waking up has changed nothing . Typical forgetful memory n he remembers bits and pieces ! The only reason they bought him back was for another male character ... since Rishabh is out and Sameer and DD do nothing for the show ! I wish EK and creatives would have surprised us for once and shown a reveal of mahesh revealing Sherlyn prithvi Mahira for once but No!! He will remain like another janki in the show ... knowing everything but doing nothing !!! So sad !! No one thinks outside the box except us ofcourse
