You may not remember her... Uvika played actress Dolly in Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om . And while the shooting of the eventual blockbuster was in progress the newbie was offered Summer 2007 , a movie that marks the debut of actor Sikander Kher and director Suhail Tatari.
The girl wasn't too sure of doing the film as it had too many newcomers.
When Shah Rukh heard her reason, he slammed her and told her that shouldn't be the grounds to turn down roles and cited his own life's examples. He advised her to climb the ladder one step at a time. Uvika is grateful she listened to Badshah Khan and is happy to have done the film after all.
