Hey Guys I am newbie,so can't make posts more than 11 thats why making a common post as today forum is worried about trps,I have some knowledge regarding how trps works,So I want to share it,as it can help us.But before that I want to clear I don't know how exactly trps are counted both online and offline,who exactly comes under trp audience becoz after a detailed research this information seems to be very ambigous.

So now come to trps,So every time slot have an average trp for itself talking about offline trps considering the various factors as many are discussing ki this is early slot,this is prime slot,this is late slot in this way,on the basis of this average trp,a channel gets advertisements and revenues basically business so for prime slots it is 2.5+ and for early slot like 7pm and 7:30 pm it is 1.5 ,so even if a show on a channel is not a slot leader but getting this average trp of around 1.4,1.5 at 7,it can go smoothly becoz channel will get ads and earn.

Now comes if a show is not getting these desired trps than depends on rival shows for example a show is getting 1.3 trp but its rivals getting 1.5,1.6 than it is a sure shot call of going off air for that particular show becoz its difficult to find sponsors and show becomes a liability and channel can even pull it off midway.

Now comes to last scenario which is happening with our show is that right now for business purposes 7pm seems to be dead slot,neither of show and this timing is doing well,all are below 1 infact so this trp is not getting channel business thats for sure becoz sponsors will not invest if not find enough targetted population which is according to them is at 1.5 trp for this slot but now any other cahnnel is even more low so whatever advertisors want to air their ad will go to star before other channel giving it a slight upper hand but not very good in terms of business so obviously producers had channel pressure to increase trp or wrap up the show,and as soon as channel come across a show which according to it can have trp of 1.5 at this slot they can pull off the plug,thats how it works.

This devdas wala thing is a little non sensical too.... They could've shown Shaurya went there to attend an event or conference... education related. And Anokhi would've landed there to manao him but phir usko pata chalta ki yeh yaha pe kisi aur hi reason se aaya hai. Confession mil jaata, romance bhi, education ka theme bhi milta.... uske baad Babli di ki entry hoti 😔😒

Thank you for the insight. I think most people are upset because this week the trp actually decreased. Before that it was constant at 1.3 I think.... I hope it goes up next week.

This is really scary as well.

I had read on twitter that during the riots track ie aastha shaurya anokhi track, trp was 1.5

I guess the third angle is not working for youth (Had ShaKhi not been what they are, probably few of us also would have left temporarily) and the lack of family drama and busy schedules are not letting it work for aunties.

Actually you can see how much traumatised I am with this trp system😆

Actually If we do good online than also its safe somewhere.

And offline trp if it maintains around 1.3-1.5 with its slot leader position than also we need not to worry much as star than give the time of atleast one to one and half year aaram se to show their story and if it increases than show can be immortal like ghum,yrrkkh and all🤣
