Another line by Malini that ticked me off was- "tum wohi karti ho jo tum chahit ho" or something like that...I was like Woah! First when has that happened? And even if it has what is wrong in that? Coming from an educated woman that was so out of line.

Ya to Malini is being portrayed as bichari with no voice...ya fir volcano bani ghum rahi hai? Creatives need to get a grip on this pendulum...it is hitting extremes! Ufff..as you can see I am so not happy with where this is heading..maybe they can space this out with Nishant track...I cannot watch Malini doing her thing on a daily basis. She is draining the viewing ability too..

Malini is suddenly acting like she alone is the brand ambassador of sindoor who gets to decide kaun pehnega, kaun nahin🤔. Yeh wohi type ke log hote hain who can't handle it if someone's faith doesn't align with theirs toh jaake unko ungli karni hai. Bhai unka faith, woh apne aap mein usko express kar rahe hain....what business is it of yours?

Adi, you better bajaao Didi with the whole range of word weaponry at your disposal😆....aise time pe hi toh kaam aata hai Adi ka talent of managing to cut a person down to size with the strength of his words even if he can't tell Didi ki Imlie has full right to wear sindoor as a married girl😆.

@Bold: Doesnt he carry ek jeb mein gussa and dusre mein taane! :) Time for both the pockets to get empty..Go Adi!

Haha Malini's ranting was actually more revealing than she realizes.

As you said, this particular line again showed how much everything for Malini has been about people doing what SHE wants and if she didn't push back at them all this time, it was because she was being "generous" enough to ALLOW people to do what they want😕😆.....that's how she's making it sound for both Adi and Imlie.

She actually used very similar language in her recent confrontation with Adi in the room as well if you remember.....after saying this "tum wohi karti ho jo tum chahti ho" line, she added, "Aur phir bas aake sorry bol deti ho".....Malini used this exact same taunt on Adi also in their argument😆.....isko dono se same hi problem hai ki ab Adi and Imlie iske hisaab se nahin chal rahe, iske aage peechhe grovel nahin kar rahe toh she is lashing out at both of them in the same manner.....ki both of you are not doing what I want, not giving ME and MY word prime importance in your life, so I don't care for your apologies😆

I don't think Malini ko is waqt pendulum bol sakte hain exactly....she has swung pretty definitively to one side right now and I don't think she can fully go back to her sugary/bechaari act as easily.

I do think this drama is all a setup to shift gears in some manner soon cuz this will shift perceptions about Malini and then they will likely move into some other family track as Didi regroups and plots her next strategy to attack Imlie....lol....they are setting the stage to show Didi's personality clearly now to the general audience and show how much of her behenchaara act was just that all along.

Haha yes, I think gusse and taane ka ammo baahar aayega kisi na kisi tareeke se on seeing poor Imlie being berated like this by Malini.

I wonder if Adi will manage to slide in a taunt about how Malini claimed Imlie was like a chhoti behen to her toh aise behave karte hain chhoti behen se?😆.....Haha if he manages to do that, brownie points from my side, Babusahib😛....Didi ka fake behenchara expose ho jaaye toh baat hi kya hogi😆

Malini looks PISSED in the precap so whatever Adi has said to her is definitely along the lines of her having no right to talk to/treat Imlie like this😆....and also looks like Adi may have asked her to APOLOGIZE to Imlie🤣....isliye Didi aur explode kar rahi hain shaayad.

One last bit before I end the day on here. Malini’s actions today were fueled by jealousy. Plain resentment that Imlie could have held her own with the principal without any need for her intervention. The principal knowing who Imlie was stung her to the extent that the sindoor just became the impetus for her outburst. Like how Aditya has no control over himself where Imlie is concerned, neither does Malini, albeit for different reasons.

She begrudges Imlie’s ability to become a part of the fold wherever she goes without being what Malini considers to be cultured or refined. Be it in the Ts household, with Aditya or most of all with her dad. Malini dislikes that someone of Imlie’s stature can get away with being the object of affection of so many people so effortlessly. The first moti roti incident, the bhaang filled family dance, her dad’s gift, the bridge incident - every single time she has felt Imlie taking away the spotlight from her. None of them have gone unnoticed and now she is in the mental space where all roads lead to Imlie so she has to inevitably be her sole punching bag. I hope Aditya soon goes back to giving 0 faraks instead of being guilted into the horizon.

@bold: +1000000😆.....I'm all for Aditya in 0 faraks mode even more after this....it's the only antidote to Didi ke tamashe😆

Waise I never used to dwell on it as much before but now that Didi ka yeh elitist side is fully out for all of us to see, now I'm remembering ki you used to mention many times that Malini will struggle with processing the truth of Adi falling for someone like Imlie.....I used to think it might be more about her hurt related to losing Adi after 7 years but now all these recent events are proving your point.....it's going to become an exercise in salvaging her image rather than her marriage.

More than the marriage falling apart, she is unable to bear that IMLIE is so effortlessly garnering all this love and admiration from all corners....down to even the Principal of her own college on day one.....lol so this is clearly not about saving her marriage for Malini then....she feels like an "inferior" girl like Imlie is encroaching on her life and the sense of control she had over every part from her college, to Adi, to the Ts.....and that is what Malini is just not being able to bear.

All the things like the Moti Roti incident etc. are now fully coming into context....this was what Malini was about all along but it got covered up in a lot of sugary acts and the need to pretend to herself that she's not as petty and shallow when she really was all along.

Waise Didi has no one but herself to blame for bringing Imlie to her college😆....aur dikhaao fake mahaanta that you don't really mean....lol....Imlie will effortlessly win over everyone in that college also and Didi jal bhun ke raakh hoti rahengi.

Caught up !

The first 5 minutes of the episodes were praise-worthy. However, couldn't believe that the guy whom Imlie assisted him suddenly backstabbed her by ragging her thereby revealing her vermillion. Malini's baritone just vitiated her initial day of college. 🤢

I sorta felt pitiful for Nishant in terms of his concern towards his ailment & Pallavi. I wish though, if he gets further testing to see if this disease is treatable or not. Also, honestly speaking, I didn't like the whole dialogues on settling down by his mother & aunt.

Regarding Prakash, so he broke his promise to Imlie. Yet, the truth had to be unveiled somehow. Obviously, the truth is being delivered from Prakash's perspective wherein I see the conflict more. Meethi should perceive from Aditya & Imlie's side. Also, the fake nani-related truth is also subdued so until that also crops up, it will eat Meethi alive mentally & physically. His behavior was just moronic to witness wherein he first reveals the truth, then realizes it once sobered up & then tries to mitigate the scenario by putting the blame game based on his lunacy. I just feel bad on Meethi who didn't desire unwarranted conflicts for Imlie.

Exhilarating to see the Tripathi clan discussing about providing Imlie the phone. It was plainly rude of Malini to lecture all the way from college to home just about the sindoor scenario. If she wanted, she could've discussed this in a private corner or just explained more politely. She was talking as if she's the owner of the college, no offense. Also, she's studying on her own merit but Malini was behaving as if she's the tour guide of the college. Even Nishant got reprimanded for this. One thing I perceived from Malini regarding this college is that she thinks she knows the mannerisms of the college, yet it is the same college & principal who was impressed by Imlie's hardworking personality --- this just shows how limited her knowledge really is. Quite contrary, she discarded the same vermilion that she handed over to Imlie the other episode.

Yeah, this entire dialogue was just like wtf ....like it is a PD ritual, or something that she is submissive towards? LOL, hurling allegations outta nowhere?

Clearly, she requires a catalyst to fuel her behavior.

I keep meaning to post my two cents on the phone scene but I've been forgetting in all the frenzy of discussion about Didi ki tamashe and what Adi will do or say in the next epi😆

Ok, so I've also been in the list of people who've LONG awaited the moment when Imlie will finally get her own phone😆.....toh I'm definitely happy seeing that discussion initiated by T's today. I wasn't happy when it seemed liked Dev would gift a phone to Imlie....it's definitely more fitting that it come from Adi or the Tripathis :)

That said, the timing of this subject being raised is definitely interesting.....it is happening right at the cusp of the mask slipping from Malini's face and Adi likely rebuking Malini directly for Imlie for the first time without a guilt trip....last time he did it at AC's house toh it got diverted into painting Didi as unwitting victim....but this time it's all khullam khulla and Adi will show no remorse for it I feel😆.

This will obviously not make Didi step back from her aggressive tactics regarding Adi-Imlie....toh ab she needs new things to snoop over na...akele Adi ke phone mein kitni der snoop karti😳😆.....toh I think Imlie is being given a phone taaki that also becomes a means to put her in tricky situations aage cuz we all know kaun sabse zyada call karega us phone pe😆. Adi ke liye toh lifeline hogi to be able to talk to Imlie without always needing to chase her around the house or wait to go drop her off somewhere😆.

Jokes apart, it will also be good for Imlie to have her phone so she can talk to her Amma, Dadda and even that useless Pari alag se without always being dependent on T's ka landline.....kahin baahar jaakar aaraam se kar sakti hai call.

Totally with you on this one! Each and every word.

Especially about the part that it gives Adi and Imlie another way of communication, without the fear of being caught. Texting might be cute too for both; those sweet good morning and good night messages 🥰

And yes, will be good for Imlie to talk to her Amma and Dadda in private too. Akhir ladki has set a new bar for village girls, second top, toh ek phone toh banta hai!

And then she sees her supporting it almost regularly so she thinks iska cheen lia imlie ne.. but still her reactions are outrageous based in a very circumstantial thing.. does she think ke bas kyonki sindoor udh ke imlie pe Gira adi automatically uska ho gaya ?it is us whoknow the truth didi doesn't so It makes no sense no actual mature practical woman would start her nonsense based on something so controlled by nature and halaat.. if they are secure enough in their rishta and have faith..

Wohi toh baat hai....she was never REALLY secure in this rishta or really had faith in it despite the tall claims of "I trust Aditya" that she gave to her Mom each time her mom told her Adi isn't good enough for her.

Holi wala sindoor grudge bhi ho sakta hai but now I'm thinking we should go back to the very beginning.....and remember what Malini's FIRST reaction was to seeing Imlie in Tripathi house....isko day one se hi Imlie pe doubt tha but then she started going overboard in covering up that feeling of doubt (maybe cuz she wanted to seperate herself from the image of her mom as constantly shakki aurat, but the truth ultimately was that she is shakki like her mom only)......Adi ofcourse also helped with that coverup by giving her mushy talks and diverting her attention but Malini khud se bhi overboard jaane lag padi around the time of the shaadi functions....getting extra gushy with Imlie like they are suddenly BFFs....phir direct khoon dekar behen hi bolne lag padi😕😆.....tab I gave her benefit of doubt ki chalo sweet hai but ab sab kuch screams FAKENESS when you put it context of what we are seeing now.

Adi ka flaw was that he was covering up the truth with all these diversions thinking that he is still showing commitment to Malini and trying not to hurt her.....he was never under any illusions ki he's some great aadmi....he constantly struggled with self-loathing over lying so much....he still does.

Malini's flaw has turned out to be worse....she lied to herself to prop up her IMAGE...it was always about justifying her own image to herself ki main mom jaisi nahin hoon, main sweet hoon, kind hoon, shak nahin karti etc. etc.....it was all a damn big LIE she told to herself and successfully fooled everyone else along with herself. If she had accepted her own flaws, she may not have ended up becoming this fragmented person she's now become who's causing destruction in every direction without remorse. Adi suppressed his real self for a while too but his conscience never was suppressed in the process.....Malini has suppressed her real self for so long that she seems to have managed to either kill or dilute her conscience to a large extent.

Simple si baat hai.....Adi didn't overnight fall in love with Imlie when he went to PD this time....the love has been there for a long time building up - he simply realized it in PD. Same way, Malini didn't become this elitist/insecure person overnight....she has always been like this - it is simply becoming clearer to the people around her now.

Insaan ka core nature kabhi nahin badalta....it only gets revealed over time.
