I have just very well read readers. Nothing escapes their keen eyes. 😆

Honestly I want to write a Kerala based story, but I have no knowledge about the place, culture. All I have learnt is from movies and would do not be able to do justice to it so that will have to wait. So for now, this is how I am living my dream. 😛

I did not want to go with a typical Christian name and my mind having read Chemmeen recently kept suggesting PK. I thought well let Pareekutty be a child of an inter-religious marriage. 😆

I have also been reading Vaikom M Basheer, short stories. Have you read him?

I am all caught up with Emanet now. The after marriage track is good as you said. Predictable, but good. Thanks for recommending this one 🤗

Coincidentally, I found a Thai drama starring a very good looking guy and cute girl. It seems to be a cute and funny romance. If you want to check out.

Story is girl is asked to get into an arranged marriage. She wants to check the groom and disguises as a cook at his house.

The language might not go down well first but you'll get used to it.

If the mv interests you, you can watch the drama here

Yes I have though long ago😆 and I love your use of PK, why not!

If you haven’t read MT Vasudevan Nair, I highly recommend his work. He has also written and directed some great movies too.

Lovely bonuses this week. It’s so cute of Kriti and biplab to celebrate dadi’s birthday. Nishit and his sister both find it akward and probably will realize that’s exactly how kirti finds herself in their house. Hope they don’t stop meeting each other seeing each other because that’s the foundational difference of their class. It’s probably going to take a lot of battling as well if they will ever be with each other. The unrequited love they feel or sense for each other shows when they are jealous or snapping at each other. Nishit is distributed and did he take to smoking just to despite kriti because she hated it?

Hi, S. I did miss you. But, I had realized you must be busy with AD. Happy to see you again. What all dramas did you watch? Done with Vincenzo? I saw the trailer of Law School and am looking forward to it. Looks like a good murder mystery. The thing is that I have watched more asian dramas than western ones so I go in with no expectations. However, I have been told that mystery and sci-fi genres are done better by the western people so their Asian counterpart pales in comparison. And honestly, I don't even watch that many mystery or sci-fi genres. What are your views about it?

Law school has the elder sister from Reply 1988. Have you watched Reply series? Which one is your favourite?

Am not done with Vincenzo yet. Caught up on a few episodes yesterday and maybe will watch a couple more today. Am savoring watching SJK on screen 😃

Yup, I've watched 2 of the 3 reply series. Reply 1997 was the first I watched and till date remains my fav though Reply 1994 seems to be the more popular one. I loved the neighborhood and the setting in Reply 1994 but didn't care much for Park Bo Gum's character or the heroine's. Ended up having a huge SML syndrome :)

Law school does seem very interesting. I watched the trailer.

I agree about Western series. Of late, I am only watching Asian ones. The Thai one you mentioned to G seems interesting. Will see if I can find it. I haven't watched too many Thai ones but am game to give it a try. On a tangent, I find it difficult to pronounce their names 😛

Thank you GN, this was indeed an awesome gift. ❤️

Is there another treasure hunt we can take part in next? 😉😆

Joji - the mister had been telling me about the movie. It is apparently inspired by an old Malayalam movie and Macbeth. It is definitely in the list.

Watched The Priest last night. Mammukka is not bad at all but the movie wasn't what I'd call great. It has its moments though.

We are still reeling from the untimely death of Vivek. He was definitely great at one time.

So many going too soon.

The old movie I don’t remember if I have watched. Macbeth, they have clearly stated at the beginning inspired some of the themes, like greed, guilt and its manifestation. Many people have been pointing out similarity to Irakal the old movie.
A cousin termed Priest okay. It has Manju also right. Will watch at some point😆
