It's not just the Mayuri angle....yes, some people conflate her and Malini....that's one part of this. But that is not the core audience....the core audience as you said, has latched on to the main nerve of the story which is Imlie.....the ratings wouldn't have been so steady if the audience didn't grasp that point regardless of whatever other cosmetic appearances are generated in the course of the drama. The loyal audience of the show is tuning in for Imlie's journey and her struggles....all the drama, the angst that swirls around the situations she's facing....her faith, her beliefs are the ones the audience sympathizes with as she's the one that's faced the biggest challenges and injustices in the story but always prevailed with resolve and a smile. What the writers have done effectively is woven in all the threads of the other equations into her journey very well....whether it's Adi, Malini, the Tripathis etc....all these threads weave into Imlie in some form or the other to keep the story moving....but she is the core that holds it all together. There is a reason the show is named Imlie😆.....and beyond all the noise and snap judgements, the core audience gets that.

I agree that the core audience connects the most to Imlie. It is her show & they relate to her journey, growth & her relationships through her. She is the core DNA around which every other character & set up is built.

Only a few people who are either Malini stan, part of other rival fandom or basically don't know anything about the show except that it is about 1 man & his 2 wives are very vocal on SM. These are few people but they attack so rabidly on SM that it makes us feel that are the audience not watching the show. But the truth is that the core audience are watching the show as it is being shown. Hence the steady TRPs.

Coming to today's episode ...as I said yesterday sirf bharose ka session hoga no love commitment on cards till bs blast like volcano ...right now he has kept patience but not for so long ..just wait and watch jaise jaise moon insult will increase his patience will lose ..

Secondly now moons network has started running in double speed so ab adi ko kaam time milega with imlie this will make him more crazy ....imlie somehow is used to and can control but going with adis impulsive nature it's very difficult for him ...

Now moonji what should I say abt this organic didi so pure she is she just want everyone's remote in her hand so she can control them and seek attention ...there is so much difference between didi and imlie attitude ...imlie is happy with old watch and share time with him without him being present for her whereas moon want him to dance on her tunes ...🤢so following anu footsteps will only gain her downfall and disrespect from everyone...

Scene which I like most was adi reminder to imlie to touch feet of aparna and take blessing ..which I have not seen him doing with moon 😲

Secondly his time management lecture to imlie this shows he is very much concern when it comes to her education ..so duniya khatam ho jaye he will definately make her educate ...and saath toh woh chodne wala nahi ....chahe didi tries to make them apart ...😆

Sindur scene he was so surprised to see ..how she values or respect his gift...she is firm on her decision it's only him in her life 👍🏼

Meethi scene was heart wrenching ...let see how she will confront him and that pari needs sugarcane activity ....😡this is how he nibhao his friendship 🤢making imlie mother unhappy ...

Coming days we may see didi pyaar bhar bhar ke bahar aye and adi will crash it and his pull will be towards imlie and imlie trying to avoid I guess👍🏼

I am also of the opinion that it's better to atleast now see her for who she is rather than keeping the sugary mask up and trying to claim she is some naive bechaari who doesn't understand what she's saying/doing. She absolutely does....she always did....now it's being obviously conveyed.

This now finally gives a clear answer for why she couldn't properly shut down her mother's misbehavior with Adi for so long....it probably never felt fully wrong to her....somewhere her mom's philosophies are hers too about how to measure the worth of people.

This is why Malini is now consciously admitting what she probably always felt subconsciously...that her Mom is not wrong to think and say what she does....all Malini did for so long was blindly rebel against her Mom without REALLY disagreeing with her.....so that is why it is now easy for her to embrace this part of her personality...she was suppressing her real self all this while.

That said, I do feel that in the long run, the writers may try to go back to some form of whitewashing of Didi. Waise toh bahut time se no one has brought up the fact that Didi gave her blood to Imlie when she fell sick.....so aise mahaan gestures will be saved for a later date when they will attempt to rehabilitate Didi again and say ki she just got briefly "misled" into embracing her inner Mrs. C....but otherwise toh Didi was all nice and giving. All that is very far off though I think....for now, they will escalate Didi's misbehavior with Imlie and show her feeling totally justified in her put downs of Imlie.

And abhi toh we don't even know how Didi will react when she learns that pati hi nahin, Papa bhi Imlie ke hain

I don't think that Malini Didi will get any whitewashing at least for the audience for a long time😆. Abhi toh unka conscious descent chalu hua hai in the dark zone. First we will get to see how low is she actually going to go in her zidd to own Adi.

If she sinks too low then empty token white washing of her character will only leave a bitter taste in audience. If they want to really bring her character back on a positive side, she needs to get a proper long term redemption arc.

But redemption arcs are generally very tricky to execute especially in ITV. But the IB team had managed to give a beautiful redemption arc to Pinky's character. So I feel if they want to, they can probably execute a nice redemption & making amends arc for Malini. But all this is still far away in the story right now.

@bold: Word to both these bits.....Adi ke reactions abhi build up kar rahe hain writers....cuz Didi hasn't reached peak Mrs. C yet😆....woh I guess aage ke episodes mein hoga shaayad with sindoor drama part two and phir phatega Babusahib naamak Volcano full on Didi pe😆.....his patience is anyways hanging on by a thread.....Malini is messing with a ticking time bomb here if she thinks she can get away with such vicious insults hurled at Imlie.

Imlie's education toh absolutely is top on the list of Adi's priorities along with ofcourse not letting her go away from him😆....ek snakebite nahin rok paaya tha Adi ka determination toh abhi Didi kya rokengi.....lol....duniya idhar ki udhar ho jaaye, Adi will fulfill that vow to help Imlie achieve all her academic potential.

Sindoor scene mein Adi barely had a dialogue but his expressions conveyed so much😆....his initial attempt to try to stop Malini from harassing Imlie over the sindoor, then him watching all disturbed as Malini wiped away the sindoor....you could feel his hurt for both Imlie and himself....and then his surprise as Imlie calmly reapplied the sindoor😆....what a journey it was for Adi also in that scene even if he was mostly a spectator.....lol

LOL arey don't think Didi is above flipping her personality as per the needs of what she wants to get....zaroorat ke hisaab se yeh "strength" will keep getting converted to naazuk fainting to garner sympathy and guilt trip people😆.

As others are mentioning here too, it's always been about control for Malini.....I honestly didn't want to think this of her....I was in the group that wanted to give her benefit of doubt that she is a nice but confused person despite the strange things she would do in her insecurity....I guess I wanted to believe the obliviousness facade rather than believe ki koi itna long term mask rakh sakta hai to control a person. Malini has done it so much more shrewdly than even her mom in a sense that it's kind of blowing my mind😆.

Now all the past scenes are coming to me in a different light....one of the Imlie-Malini scenes that I found so sweet was that "Mankua" wala scene in the hospital....lol ab realize ho raha hai that Didi ke andar kitni strong copycat tendencies thi from day one.....Imlie ne ek baar bola Mankua and Malini instantly latched on and repeated it cuz she wanted that limelight for herself too. I honestly didn't want to believe this of her...mujhe yeh soch hi badi ajeeb lagti hai ki log attention/limelight ke liye itni petty cheezein kar sakte hain😆.....but I guess I was also naive about it in some ways then😆....since it is now being proven that yeh pura khel hi attention seeking and control ka tha all along.

It does make me sad too....I wanted to believe that all the nice things that Malini was doing were coming from a genuine place....alas, all of that turned out to be a mirage....a game to gather attention/tie people to herself....what a sad waste of your life to conduct it like this.

But do we really sympathise with AC & DC ke justifications😛. Sometimes I do feel some sympathy for AC as a mother when she fights for her daughter but uski concern ki chop kar deti hai Malini😆. But that is only a momentary abberation/glitch for me because at the end of the day woh hai toh ghatiya sochwali aurat hi. And DC aur uski maa toh forever losers ki list se kabhi hatte hi nahi. Inke liye kabhi sympathy feel nahi hoti mujhe😆. But yes Malini ke liye bhi justifications denge hi but core audience will always be sceptical about her.

Yes. Sympathy factor for Malini especially for Adi will get diluted as she continues to misbehave with Imlie. And he is definitely not going to tolerate it beyond a level. Abhi bhi taunts aur arguments main sunata hi hai Malini ko. Agar aise hi behaviour karti rahi toh aur bhi zyaada sunayega woh Malini ko.

I feel Adi's guilt & self flagellation will continue at least until he is unable to reveal the truth to Malini. Once the truth is revealed then his guilt or sympathy for her & tendency for self blaming will depend on how Malini behaves with Imlie & him afterwards.

If she still continues to knowingly insult & misbehave with Imlie & trying to hold onto him zabardasti, iski guilt or sympathy will turant se evaporate. Itna bhi selfless nahi hai Adi. Yes but if she harms herself in anyway then we can expect him to drown in guilt. But I don't think that guilt or sympathy for her will ever be enough for him to want to make their relationship work for the sake of Malini. Only Imlie has that kind of hold over him. Let's see how the CVs will show Adi & Imlie getting out of their guilt & sympathy mode for Malini.

He's already burning in the fire of remorse but he still hasn't really faced the full impact of what he's done.....when Mithi puts it to him, that is when it will hit him more....how all of this will be perceived by people who don't understand the sequence of events that happened.

Prakash ne toh casually aakar bol diya that Adi ne Imlie ko naukraani banaa kar rakha apne ghar mein but is that really the full truth? Is it not true that Imlie herself volunteered to hide the truth of her marriage to Adi first on that bus ki chhat? Is it also not true that Imlie herself stepped forward to give the impression that she is there to do kaam in T house when they were asking Adi who Imlie is? Yes, baad mein Adi also just let things continue as is for a bit but at no point was he "enjoying" keeping Imlie as a maid in his house as Prakash has made it sound to Mithi in this revelation.

As Adi rightly pointed out, Prakash ko kuch bhi samajhne mein der lagti hai...ya toh woh samajhna chahta hi nahin for his own selfish reasons😆.....Imlie clearly explained the whole issue to him but he obviously doesn't want to view it like that....he insists on viewing this as Adi taking advantage of Imlie cuz as long as Malini is in the picture as a second wife, the whole issue will continue to be skewed.

So yes, I do think when Adi gets a chance to talk to Mithi, he will give her the whole picture of what happened....I actually hope Adi-Imlie talk to Mithi together so that they are able to tell her everything as it happened and at what point, who insisted on hiding the truth😆. Adi also needs to hear how it feels from the PD perspective ki all of them considered his marriage with Imlie valid but he never did for so long and then he went and made it worse in his selfishness by marrying Malini....that way both relationships got disrespected...yeh kadva sach toh sunna padega Adi ko.....but Mithi ko yeh bhi sunna padega that her pyari bitiya herself handed Adi the sindoor to fill in Malini's maang😆.

Mithi will definitely come around if Adi shows a determination about making things right and giving Imlie her due rights....Mithi will instantly jump to Team Adi in a heartbeat over that....lol but yes, Imlie herself will remain the biggest roadblock in her determination to spare Malini didi the pain of losing a husband....not realizing ki she's already lost the husband at this point....token rishta nibhaane se woh saath nahin ban jaata.
