My guess is someone messed up time. Anokhi ended up getting an invitation for much later than Shaurya intended. There is no other reason that Shaurya would not have waited for her unless he thought she was not coming. Why did he not call her?

You do not challenge your friend for holi, Your friend does not say that he is where he should be and his holi would be incomplete without him putting on color on you without any feelings. You do not get invited and agree to go on a date if two people did not have romantic feelings. Shaurya explicitly stated it was a "date". There is no way that Anokhi could think that Shaurya was playing with her or taking advantage of her. He had multiple opportunities but he never took advantage. I get that she is suddenly unsure of Shaurya's feelings and is feeling jealous and insecure and is acting on it but it seems slightly contrary to her character. Maybe she is shocked that he had a past.
Also why would Anokhi run back to hostel, why not march straight to the table? She was invited, why should she sulk in dark. At the very least she has earned right to question Shaurya.
Also why did Kanchan say that Shaurya never told her, he did tell her that he had feelings for Anokhi to the point that he was mad about his Holi getting spoilt and he not being able to tell Anokhi his feelings. Though thankfully Kanchan said that with Devi being omnipresent every time she opens her mouth.
I’m not sure if viewers should have amnesia like the way the characters are acting like.

Literally flirted with each other on the steps and behind the wall....but I can see where Anokhi could interpret it all like a lead on.
After knowing about Shaurya and Shagun connection....I understand that Anokhi is insecure when compared to a previous girlfriend....but still.
Kanchan is an airhead....she’s going to pretend like she didn’t overhear a conversation between Devi/Alok? Or that Shaurya literally confessed to her....she’s getting useless as a love guru!
It’s going to be hard to turn off my brain and watch this show if they keep forgetting what has already been established.

What love guru! To me she seems more like Devi's mole so far. Somehow all information from Shaurya's end is passed on to Devi but not to anyone who could be useful like Shaan. However none of Devilok games are passed on to Shaurya and Shaan.
I don't even understand why her character is getting any importance but I guess she is going to play a role in constantly help Devi create MU unwittingly.
I am beginning to wonder if anyone truly cares for Shaurya in this household and what he thinks and wants. Everyone is constantly scared of Devi. No wonder he got emotionally attached to Anokhi when he saw her care for his wellbeing and giving him an outlet for his suppressed emotions.
This girl is queen of tharak! She will make you see things in ways you might not have even thought of 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
