As much as I want to write some sort of origin story between Dev and Rishita, I cannot do that. I would probably not do any justice to Rishita, and instead, make everyone on this forum hate her more than we already 😂, so if someone else wants to take up the challenge, I would be more than happy!

Though, now that I'm thinking it, Rishita probably loved Dev first. Maybe she saw him walking down the hallway and immediately thought, "He's mine!" and the rest is history. I can't imagine a story of Dev liking Rishita first. He always seemed like the type of person to fall in love with anyone who is kind to him. And I can totally see Rishita being kind to only him because she's obsessed.

In fact, maybe if Raavi confessed to Dev earlier, Dev would've liked Raavi instead. Too bad Raavi is stuck with Shiva. That man will be a lot harder to romance.

I think raavi lucked out by not getting married to dev. I have felt this time and again that dev lacks a spine and cannot stand by his decisions. Biggest proof of that is what he did during his wedding. He convinced dhara and family that he would marry raavi and it was final but on the day of wedding he took a 360 degree turn. Shiva is harsh and harder on the outside but he is a gem and is very pure of heart. People fail to understand that not just raavi, shiva's life also turned upside down. Even though he agreed, it was not his own choice to marry raavi. Both, Shiva and raavi were pushed to marry. Shiva is a hard nut to crack but once someone gains a place in his heart, he supports and loves them unconditionally.

You will be so annoyed at Meena (Rishitha) in Tamil version because 90% problems arises because of her or by her. Rishitha is much more extreme compared to Tamil version character.

Likewise Shiva is volatile compared to tamil version where he is silent type.

Get ready guys you will hardly like Rishitha in future unless otherwise cvs turn her from grey to complete positive. As they say there will be always at least one misfit in the family.

I couldn't agree more. Rishita is a hypocrite. You know I had thought after the way her family behaved with her some sense would be knocked into her but alas, no such thing has happened.

She is insensitive, brash, rude and egotistical and entitled!! No manners, no tact. I honestly like @Milkcakejamun said what in the world did Dev see in her?

Dev had Dhara and Gautam as his idols, he grew up watching them, what in the world was he thinking. I really want to know what he saw in Rishita. Probably everything good, because she wasn't challenged in anyway nor she had to share Dev.

They never expected these Circumstances, Dhara misunderstanding „R Calling“ for Raavi and getting wedding talks started etc

She never expected to be cut of by her parents hence needing adjustment.

Thats something her character need to learn.

But for now she definitely has double standards and is annoying.

Dhara went to her place for her and Dev's rishta. So, I really am not going to be pulling my punches when it comes to Rishita.

You know, I'm thinking that it's because they were always sneaking around, outside of their house...that he really only ever saw her sweet bubbly nature. Like never really saw her interact with other people, so it never occurred to him, how rude she'll be. The negative aspects of a secret relationship, you don't see how your partner treats other people outside of your relationship.
